The organisation has the following features

Abila
The centre has abila, a local Luo name meaning a meeting place for telling stories, learning and instilling disciplinary talks amongst the young. Abila acts as the main meeting place for Dala Rieko. Living house and offices
The centre also has a big living house “The Factory” with Founders’ Room, Brothers’ Room and Sisters’ Room, two offices Dala

Rieko 1 and Dala Rieko 2, and a spacious room for holding other meetings. Building with kitchen and dining for ten people. Toilet building with bathroom and two latrines. Dero
Dero is an age old local Luo name for a granary, which was meant for storage of food for use during lean periods. Mass water storage in Kentanks
Water harvesting is paramount to Dala Rieko and we have demonstrated that in our small farm. Rocky land reclamation
This has been demonstrated through digging out rocks, building terraces and filling up with fertile soil.
