Please join us for our next support group meeting:

• Wednesday, June 3, 2026
• 10:00 AM
• Sakura Heights Tower Community Room

This month’s discussion topic is ‘transitions.’ Grief is full of transitions, some expected, some deeply surprising. Together we’ll talk about the many ways life shifts after loss:

• transitioning through different stages of grief
• moving from active heartbreak toward healing and forward movement
• navigating changes within our support group as we prepare to welcome a new facilitator
• considering future family planning, trying again, or choosing a different path
• adjusting to life changes, identity shifts, and new beginnings

Whatever transition you may be facing, you are not alone. These changes are a normal and natural part of the grief journey, and we invite you to come share, listen, and connect in a supportive space. 💛

Our next Yokosuka Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 1000. We will be having 2 morning meetings this month due to scheduling conflicts and will be in the Asagao Heights Tower community room, a map is attached but please message the group if you need directions or anything at all.

This week we will be talking about and telling our stories and discussing whether it feels good and freeing to tell them or not so much sometimes. Our stories are so nuanced, intricate, delicate, and can feel both brutal in many ways but maybe beautiful in some aspects, too.

We invite you to come and tell your story, even just parts of it, or just come to listen and connect. Community support is such an important aspect of the grieving process and we would love for you to join us.

We are currently searching for a facilitator for our Yokosuka Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group. This is not just a volunteer position, it is a deeply meaningful role serving families navigating grief, loss, and healing.

Our group is made up of some of the strongest, bravest, and most vulnerable women. The space we create together is sacred. It is a place where people come exactly as they are to grieve, remember, process, and find community after unimaginable loss.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, emotionally mature, and passionate about supporting others through difficult seasons of life. Experience leading groups, facilitating discussions, or working in support/community spaces is strongly preferred.

Ideally, we would love to find a military spouse who:
• Is professional, organized, and accountable
• Can consistently facilitate meetings with care and sensitivity
• Is comfortable managing communication, advertising meetings, and updating social media
• Understands the emotional weight and responsibility this support group carries
• Feels called to serve the community in a powerful and meaningful way

This role is truly a labor of love. It is not easy work, but for the right person, it is deeply fulfilling and impactful.

If this speaks to your heart, or if you know someone who would be an incredible fit, please reach out to me directly. We are happy to answer any questions and would love to connect. 🤍

If you are interested, please message here, send a text, or email Lindsay:

• The experience of infertility and the desire to be a mother

• Sharing what has helped us through some of the darkest days

Join us for our next Pregnancy & Infant Support Group meeting on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the Sakura Heights Tower Community Room.

This week’s topic will be “Weight & Wait.” These two words may sound just randomly similar, but in grief, they are deeply connected. The weight of grief can feel overwhelming, at times all-consuming, all while the wait for healing, for clarity, for the dust to settle, can feel endless.

Together, we’ll gently explore:
• How the heaviness of grief shows up in our daily lives
• The feeling of being stuck in time while everything else moves forward
• Moments when grief feels suffocating and how we’ve navigated them
• Ways we’ve found strength, even in the darkest seasons

This is a safe, compassionate space to share, listen, and simply be, wherever you are in your journey.

You are not alone. We hope you’ll join us. 💛

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group
Wednesday, April 1 | 10:00 AM
Ajisai Heights Community Room Tower

Tomorrow’s gathering will center around the theme “Walking the Tightrope.”

Grief can often feel like balancing on a narrow line, unsteady, exposed, and incredibly heavy. You may find yourself holding deep sadness in one hand, shame in the other, with regret tucked quietly in your pocket. At the same time, you’re trying to keep countless other emotions from crashing down around you. It can feel overwhelming or maybe sometimes even impossible.

Together, we will gently explore what it means to carry so much at once. We’ll talk about ways to set some of that weight down, even if only for a moment. And we’ll consider the possibility that, rather than forcing these emotions away, we can learn to let them walk alongside us on a path that feels more grounded, more steady, and more compassionate.

This is a space for honesty, connection, and support, where every feeling is welcome.

I look forward to being with you all tomorrow. ❤️

This is just a reminder that we are meeting tonight, Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in the Sakura Heights Community Room Tower.

Tonight’s topic is self-care, but and not just the obvious things like bubble baths or small treats (though those are always welcome 💛). We’ll also be talking about the deeper, often harder parts of self-care: giving yourself grace on the tough days, being honest about your limitations, honoring where you are in your grief, and allowing space for whatever you’re carrying right now.

Grief is not one-size-fits-all, and neither is self-care. We’ll explore all the nuances together in a supportive, understanding space.

We hope to see you there tonight. You are always welcome, exactly as you are.

17/03/2026

✨ Support Group Next Week: Let’s Talk Self-Care ✨

Taking care of ourselves is something we often talk about, but what does it actually look like in our daily lives?

Next week’s support group will focus on self-care and the many ways we can nurture our minds and bodies during difficult or stressful times. We’ll explore practices like breathing techniques, meditation, and the importance of gathering in supportive communities like this one.

This will be a space to reflect together and ask ourselves:
• What does your current self-care routine look like?
• Is it truly supporting you?
• Are there things you might want to add, change, or explore?

Sometimes self-care can be as simple as pausing to breathe, connecting with others who understand, or creating small moments of calm in our day.

We’re also very excited to welcome a special guest facilitator, Sarah Kim. Sarah is an incredible woman with a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we are so grateful she will be joining us to help guide the conversation and share her insights.

We hope you’ll come be part of this supportive discussion and connect with the community.
