Members of NSCF Japan Chapter recently completed an incredible team building event! The Chiba Spartan Super 10K with over 25 obstacles. After the race members enjoyed some fellowship at a local Japanese Izakaya. HOOYAH Team – We Win Together!

We are honored to announce that Japan Chapter has been recognized as the 2025 Chapter of the Year (Small category). Additionally, our very own LT Travon Whitehurst, Secretary and Events Coordinator, has received the 2025 Volunteer of the Year Award for our entire US Navy SC Community!!

These awards reflect the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of our members, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who continuously strengthen the SC community across Japan and the Indo-Pacific region.

On behalf of the Japan Chapter leadership team, thank you to everyone who contributed to this achievement. Your hard work and passion made this possible. Congratulations to all involved and a very special congratulations to LT Whitehurst!! We look forward to continuing our mission of service, support and excellence in 2026.

NSCF Japan Chapter had a busy Saturday (16 May). First, we supported a Zushi River Clean-Up COMREL to strengthen the bilateral US - Japan partnership while fostering goodwill for the local community. Then we tore up the streets of Tokyo in costumes at Monkey Adventure Kart. Thank you to LCDR Priscilla Weaver for organizing this amazing day and thank you to everyone who supported our events. HOOYAH team – we win together!!

NSCF Japan Chapter recently enjoyed an amazing day at Nakamura-beya Sumo Stable in Tokyo!! The sumo wrestling experience was followed by an amazing hot pot dinner and we closed out the evening with some Karaoke fun!! Thank you to LT Travon Whitehurst for planning this amazing event – HOOYAH Team!! We win together!!

February 21st 2026, the NSCF Japan Chapter celebrated the 231st Supply Corps Birthday. What an incredible night for our community, JMSDF partners, friends and families. We were honored to have JMSDF RADM Hideki Sugaya as our guest speaker and FLCY XO CDR Bradford Sturgis as our Master of Ceremonies.

This evening would not have been possible without the months of dedicated work from the NSCF Japan Chapter and our incredible Ball Committee members. Also, a very special thank you to LT Yanique Bolton, Ms. Miki Ceselsky, the New Sanno Hotel staff, our performers and all our volunteers for making this an amazing evening that we’ll cherish for years to come.

NSCF Japan Chapter had the distinct honor and privilege to host our NAVSUP Commander and 50th Chief of the Supply Corps, RADM Ken Epps in Yokosuka this week. We also hosted CAPT Krysten Ellis and the OP Team for the new and improved OP Roadshow, what an incredible week for our team, we win together – HOOYAH!!
