USO Yokosuka now has a partially enclosed theater room, gaming chairs, an ample amount of charging ports and some vintage arcades. USO Yokosuka was happy to support the firehouse open house! 🚒❤️

We had such a great time spending the day with our amazing community, meeting new people, and helping make the event a fun one for everyone. There were fire trucks, firefighters, Sparkie the dog, families, and plenty of smiles: and thankfully, no actual fires for us to deal with! 😂🔥

A huge thank you to our incredible firefighters, USO volunteers, and everyone who came out to enjoy the day. We’re always proud to support events that bring our community together!

Until next time… stay safe, stay cool, and leave the firefighting to the professionals! 🚒😎

🎃🧁 Spooktacular Cupcake Decorating Fun at Shoreline Social!

Hey there, cupcake enthusiasts! We transformed our cozy little corner into a haunted cupcake haven, and boy, did we have a ghoulishly good time!

With sprinkles flying and frosting galore, our little decorators were armed with bags of icing and an abundance of creativity!

Every bite was a delightful treat, making our taste buds dance like a skeleton at a Halloween party! 🍬💃

A look beneath Yokosuka 🇯🇵
USO volunteers had the opportunity to tour the historic DESRON 15 Caves alongside USO Indo-Pacific Regional Vice President Scott Maskery.
A fascinating look into the history hidden beneath CFAY, and an unforgettable experience shared with the people who make the USO community so special.

🌟 Meet Mykia, our shining star! 🌟

Though she just joined our USO volunteer team she's already tackled her first challenge like a pro! During one of her shifts, things didn’t go exactly as planned (because when do they ever? 😂), but Mykia took it all in stride.

She exemplified our USO core values, and she showed us what it means to be part of this amazing community.

Join us in giving Mykia a big round of applause for her incredible spirit and determination! 👏❤️ We’re so grateful to have her on board, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things she’ll accomplish with us.

Remember, every challenge is just an opportunity in disguise!

Is stress creeping in like that one sock you can never find?

Let’s chase it away together! Tomorrow Wednesday, swing by the USO Yokosuka Center for our weekly Therapy Tails event, where stress meets its match.

From 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, you will get to hang out with Rookie, our resident furry therapist. This pup is a pro at turning gloomy days into bright ones with just a wag of her tail and a few heartwarming snuggles. Seriously, if cuddles were a competitive sport, Rookie would be the reigning champion!

Can’t wait to see you there, Rookie has his paws crossed for a great turnout!
