📢 Rinko Park parkrunは、9月26日からしばらくお休みします

　9月19日の #55の会場でもお伝えした通り、9月26日からしばらくの間、Rinko Park parkrunの開催はお休みとなります。

　この秋に予定されている大型イベントの開催に伴い会場が利用できないことに加え、臨港パークから山下公園までの水際線の工事計画が始まる予定のためです。

　私たちは、開催できる環境が整えば、いつでもRinko Park parkrunを再開したいと考えています。
具体的に開催に向けた動きにアップデートがありましたら、この場でもお知らせします。その際には、皆さんのご協力をぜひお願いいたします。

それまでは、ぜひ他のparkrunにも足を運んでみてください。🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🎉 55回、そして1,000人のつながり
　2024年11月のスタートから55回。間もなく2年目を迎える中、ここまで参加してくださった皆さん、ボランティアとして支えてくださった皆さんに、改めて心から感謝します。🙏

　おかげさまで、55回の開催でユニーク参加者も1,000名を超えました。

　そして #55では、Mさんが新たにRun Directorの役割に加わり、初めてその役割を務めてくれました。これも、Rinko Park parkrunに新しい力が加わった嬉しい出来事でした。

　🍁秋の行楽シーズンに、ここで毎週のparkrunがないのは少し寂しいですが、この期間を、これまでの55回を振り返り、これからの開催に向けて準備する時間にしていきたいと思います。

　臨港パークから山下公園へ続く水際線も、これから少しずつ姿を変えていきます。その変化を前向きに楽しみながら、またこの場所で、走る人、歩く人、ボランティアの皆さんと一緒にparkrunを開催できる日を楽しみにしています。

またRinko Park parkrunでお会いしましょう！ 🌊🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

📢 Rinko Park parkrun will take a break from 26 September
As we announced at #55 on 19 September, the schedule for Rinko Park parkrun will be undecided for a while from 26 September.

This is because of venue unavailability based on several large events taking place this autumn, as well as the planned waterfront construction project extending from Rinko Park towards Yamash*ta Park.

We intend to resume Rinko Park parkrun as soon as the conditions allow us to do so.
When we have news about a possible return or the next event, we will announce it here. We will also ask for your support and cooperation when the time comes.

In the meantime, we hope you will take the opportunity to visit other parkruns. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🎉 55 events, and more than 1,000 unique participants
Since we started in November 2024, we have held 55 events, and we are approaching our second anniversary.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has taken part and everyone who has supported Rinko Park parkrun as a volunteer over these 55 events. 🙏

Thanks to all of you, more than 1,000 unique participants have now taken part in Rinko Park parkrun.

At #55, M-san also joined our Run Director team and took on the role for the first time. It was wonderful to see another member of our community step into this role.

It will feel a little strange not to have our Saturday morning parkrun here during the autumn season. But we would like to use this period to look back on what we have built together and prepare for future events at Rinko Park.

The waterfront between Rinko Park and Yamash*ta Park will also gradually change as the planned work gets underway. We look forward to seeing how this area develops and, when the time is right, welcoming everyone back to Rinko Park.

We will let you know when we are ready to return.
Until then, thank you for being part of our community, and we hope to see you at another parkrun.

🎊【2026/09/19 #55 臨港パークparkrun – 本日のリザルト】🎊
イベント前には霧雨もありましたが、本日も臨港パークにお越しいただいたランナー、ウォーカー、ボランティア、応援の皆さま、ありがとうございました。🌿

本日は、イギリス🇬🇧、オーストラリア🇦🇺、フィリピン🇵🇭など、国内外のparkrunコミュニティから18名の初参加者をお迎えしました。

雨の中でも、ランナー、ウォーカー、ボランティアが一緒にparkrunを楽しみ、終了後はアフターカフェで交流するなど、素敵な土曜日の朝となりました。🌏☕️

そして、今日の開催を支えてくださった17名のボランティアの皆さんに、心から感謝します。 🦺🌿

🎊【2026/09/19 #55 Rinko Park parkrun – Today’s Results】🎊
There was some drizzle before the event, but thank you to all the runners, walkers, volunteers and supporters who made their way to Rinko Park today. 🌿

Today, we welcomed 18 first-timers from the parkrun community in Japan and around the world, including visitors from the UK 🇬🇧, Australia 🇦🇺 and the Philippines 🇵🇭.

Despite the rain, runners, walkers and volunteers enjoyed parkrun together, followed by conversations and connections at our after-parkrun café. It was a lovely Saturday morning. 🌏☕️

A special thank you to our 17 volunteers who supported today’s event and made it possible. 🦺🌿

🎌 シルバーウィークの始まり
9月19日は大型連休の初日。
遠出する方も、横浜で過ごす方も、土曜日の朝は臨港パークへ。

海を眺めながら5kmを走る、歩く。
友人や家族と落ち合う。
いつもの仲間と朝の時間を過ごす。
そんな秋の始まりの土曜日です。🌊

🏃 スポーツの秋、横浜マラソンの季節
暑さも少しずつ和らぎ、走るのが気持ちよい季節になってきました。

横浜マラソンも近づいています。
臨港パークから続く水際線で、ゴール付近の雰囲気を感じながら5kmを楽しむのもよさそうです。

臨港パークから山下公園へ続く水際線では、これから整備や工事が進みます。
しばらくこのコースを走れない時期が来るかもしれません。

今の海と街の景色を楽しみながら走り、これからの水際線の変化も楽しみにしたいと思います。

19 September is the first day of a long holiday weekend in Japan.

Whether you are travelling or staying in Yokohama, why not start your Saturday morning at Rinko Park?

Run or walk 5km by the sea.
Meet up with friends or family.
Or simply enjoy a Saturday morning with the Rinko Park community. 🌊

Free to join, with no advance booking required.
First-timers, walkers, spectators and volunteers are all welcome.

🏃 Autumn sports season & Yokohama Marathon
The weather is gradually becoming more comfortable for running and walking.

With the Yokohama Marathon approaching, you can also enjoy the 5km along the waterfront and get a feel for the atmosphere around the marathon finish area.

Development and construction work will soon progress along the waterfront between Rinko Park and Yamash*ta Park.
There may be a period when we cannot use this course.

For now, we will enjoy the sea and city views as they are, while looking forward to the changes ahead.

After #54, we are just six people away from 1,000 unique participants.
We didn't quite get there last week — so what will happen at #55? 😊

📌 Future events
There will be no Rinko Park parkrun on Saturday, 26 September, as a large event will be taking place at the venue.

Events from October onwards have not yet been confirmed.
We will share further information once plans are decided.

☔️ Weather
The autumn rain front continues to affect the area.

If the event needs to be cancelled due to weather or other safety concerns, we will announce the cancellation by 6:00 pm on Friday, 18 September, on Facebook, Instagram and the official parkrun website.

Please check the latest information before heading out.

🎊【2026/09/12 #54 Rinko Park parkrun – Today’s Results】🎊
It was drizzling this morning, but runners, walkers and volunteers came together to enjoy parkrun.

Today, we welcomed 8 first-timers from Japan and overseas, including visitors from the UK 🇬🇧, Germany 🇩🇪 and Australia 🇦🇺.

Even in the rain, runners, walkers and volunteers enjoyed parkrun together. After the event, we continued the morning at our after-parkrun café, sharing stories and experiences from parkruns around the world. It was a lovely time together. 🌏☕️
