【孝道山盆おどり】
孝道山の盆おどりは、比叡山延暦寺よりお迎えしたお釈迦さまのご聖骨（ご仏舎利）をたたえ、ご先祖様への供養の思いを込めて行われます。
ライトアップされた仏舎利殿前は、灯明が厳かにまたたき、やわらかな光が仏舎利殿を包みます。
本堂前にはやぐらが組まれ、ぼんぼりや行灯の灯りのもと、子どもから大人まで世代を超えて、みんなで踊ります。
美しい横浜の夜景を望みながら、孝道山ならではの夏のひとときをお楽しみください。
また、仏舎利殿前には800個の風鈴を飾った「風鈴棚」を設けます。
仏さまとのご縁を結ぶ風鈴に、願いごとをしたためた短冊を飾る「音結び」も行っています。
盆おどりの夜には風鈴棚もライトアップされ、涼やかな音色とともに、幻想的な風景をお楽しみいただけます。
ぜひ盆おどりとあわせて、ライトアップされた仏舎利殿にもお参りください。

The Bon Odori (dance) at Kōdōsan is held to honor the sacred relic of the Buddha, welcomed from Enryakuji Temple on Mount Hiei, and to offer prayers for our ancestors. In front of the illuminated Relic Tower, sacred lamps flicker solemnly. In the temple grounds, lit by paper lanterns and andon lamps, a yagura tower is erected before the Main Hall, where people of all ages join in the dance. At Kōdōsan, overlooking the beautiful nightscape of Yokohama, we invite you to enjoy this special Obon evening.
