「国際協力」「在住外国人支援」「国際理解・環境教育」「災害支援」など様々な事業を行っています。
2002年度からは外務省NGO相談員として東北６県を担当し、次世代NGOの育成や東北６県のNGOのネットワーキング等を実施。2010年には青年組織としてIVYyouth（アイビーユース）を設立しました。
東日本大震災では、これまで培われた知識や経験、人脈を生かし、自立復興に向けた支援活動を行っています。
IVY is an organization made up of private citizens. IVY was established in 1991 in Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture, one of the six prefectures in what is known as the Tohoku region of northeast
ern Japan. IVY’s goal is to realize a society where all people on Earth are liberated from their difficulties and are able to live the way human beings should. Towards this goal, we are providing support so that people may greatly improve their own way of life. In Cambodia, IVY is implementing a project for regional development in order to reduce the poverty of farming villages. In Japan, IVY is implementing Japanese language classes, living consultations, the dispatch of medical/legal interpreters, and work support courses for foreigners, as well as developmental education, environmental education, and Chinese language acquisition classrooms for children and students.
