Serving Our World is dedicated to improving the lives of neglected children in remote communities all over the world. Touching Lives. Building Futures.

Serving Our World is an International charity that focuses on touching lives, building community, and serving those in need in challenging environments and circumstances. It has been our experience that humanitarian relief seldom reaches the distant areas or village members, yet sometimes they are the ones who need it most. Our mission is to bring relief to all ethnic groups, especially focusing o

n orphans, and families in remote areas of the world. Moving people toward a new vision and enabling them with the skills and resources for a brighter future. Our focus on community helps us to have a wider reaching impact in the lives of children and families made vulnerable through war, disease and circumstances beyond their control.

The story didn’t end when the houses were finished.

It was only the beginning.

Today, those same relationships have opened doors into remote mountain villages where children are discovering hope, learning through Bible stories, and experiencing the love of Christ.

Sometimes we don’t see the harvest for years.

Sometimes the greatest miracles don’t happen overnight.

Four years ago,💙many of you helped build flood relief homes for families in Timor-Leste.

At the time, we thought we were simply building houses.

Looking back today, we realize God was building something MUCH BIGGER.

Those relationships opened doors into neighboring mountain communities where children are now learning through Bible stories, families are hearing the Gospel, and an entire village is asking us to stay.

Every week, our team hikes up 8 miles into the mountains of Timor-Leste to reach children with learning opportunities, encouragement, and the love of Christ.

One child we met cannot attend school because of mobility challenges after a serious injury. Yet, faithfully joins the village learning activities whenever our team arrives.

These children are not forgotten. ❤️

The love shared in Motakiik has become contagious—neighbors are talking, villages are asking, and doors are opening.

Our team hikes over an hour, crossing a river and climbing the mountain to reach Mota-Ulun, a community eager for education and the Gospel.

Heavy rains. Rising rivers. Roads that disappear.
And still—our team goes on. 🌧️🌊➡️🚶‍♂️

In January, the TULUN Foundation and Serving Our World teams continued visiting children, families, and communities—carrying supplies and laptops by hand when vehicles could go no further.

This is commitment. This is love in action.💙
