Halal certification is not a guarantee for sales. It is simply a key to enter into the Muslim market. ハラル認証は売上の増加を保証するものではありません。それは単にイスラム教徒の市場に参入するための鍵です。

Be weary of anyone that claim halal certification is a guarantee for more sales!

With that being said all other normal business practices must be taken into consideration such as marketing and market survey, advertising, product, pricing and others.

These factors must be planned simultaneously whilst an organization is considering to obtain halal certification. This way your product will have a much higher chance to not only be successful in Muslim markets but also in the general global market.

Halal credentials are not enough to entice Japanese consumers, while confusion is causing local certifiers to go slow

Volunteers / Internships

We are looking for youthful and energetic volunteers / interns to join our team at JHUA. Mainly to be based at our TOKYO office in Toranomon, Minato, Tokyo.

We are looking at promoting our services strongly and are in need of motivated individuals that have interest in HALAL and ISLAM to help expand our exposure throughout Japan.

Part of your duties may include assisting our non-Japanese speaking representatives to communicate with Japanese speakers.

You will have an opportunity to learn about Islam and Halal while volunteering with us. Full training will be provided.

Job requirement:

a) Good proficiency in [ENGLISH and/or MALAY] and [JAPANESE] language.
b) Good understanding of Social Media Platforms (Facebook & Instagram)
c) Good Communication Skills, coming up with catchy social media postings, etc.
