In rural areas in Kenya, access to health facilities /maternal clinics is extremely limited .Partly due to bad road network,compelling expectant mothers to take bike taxis to clinics.Also clinics in remote areas lack electricity and clean/safe water.There is dare need of ambulances,drugs and medical supplies among others. Why sponsor, I strongly believe that no woman should die while giving birth in the 21st century. Maternal heath is well taken care of in developed world but it remains a grave problem in undeveloped countries and especially in the rural areas.

SUMAC Kenyaに寄贈いただいた大量の茨城県産イチゴを使って、会員がジャムをつくりました。小瓶18瓶（1瓶の内容量250g）になり、これで団体へのご寄付を募ろうと思います。
