Located at the easternmost point of Shikoku, Kamoda Cape offers stunning views from its lighthouse.
A cape representing Muroto-Anan Kaigan National Park, known for its rich natural scenery.
Access is now easier with the opening of the Komatsushima-Minami IC – Anan IC section in March 2026.
A seaside drive along the coast is highly recommended 🚗

From the cape’s symbol, Kamoda Cape Lighthouse, you can take in the Pacific Ocean,
and on clear days, even see the Onaruto Bridge, Awaji Island, and Wakayama.
The horizon seen from the “Poem of the Waves” monument is a popular scenic spot.
At the base, Kamoda Misaki Onsen offers a relaxing moment with beautiful views ♨️

With roots in the Miwa method of Nara, this tradition has been passed down for over 400 years.

Made with pure sesame oil, hand-stretched with care, and slowly sun-dried.
It is known for its firm texture and smooth finish,
delicious both chilled and served warm.

While visiting, try freshly made “nama somen,”
as well as Shodoshima’s unique “olive somen”
infused with local olive flavor ✨

Its rail-less “submersible bridges” are an iconic sight,

or stop by Otonashi Shrine, known for love and good connections.

A small island floating in the Seto Inland Sea, Ogijima.
With little flat land, houses spread out like fish scales, creating a uniquely Japanese landscape.
Walk along stone paths, steps, and winding alleys, and slip into the island’s slow rhythm,

Take in the view from Toyotamahime Shrine, fondly known as Tamahime-san,
