🔶New Corporate Member🔶

The IJCC is delighted to welcome The TEFL Institute Group as our newest Corporate Member.

In joining the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce, The TEFL Institute Group would like to share the following:

We are The TEFL Institute Group, one of the world's fastest-growing and most trusted providers of internationally recognised Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) qualifications.
Comprising The TEFL Institute, The TEFL Institute of Ireland, and TEFL.AI, we've built a reputation for delivering high-quality, accredited teacher training and supporting learners in more than 80 countries to build rewarding international teaching careers.

We're delighted to join the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce as part of our long-term strategy to strengthen our presence in Japan and establish ourselves as a leading strategic partner for accredited TEFL qualifications and English teacher development.
We look forward to building meaningful relationships with organisations that share our commitment to educational excellence, professional development and international collaboration.

Our focus is on developing mutually beneficial partnerships with private and public schools, universities, corporate organisations, teaching platforms and businesses that support international visitors, working holiday participants and professionals seeking long-term opportunities in Japan.

Together, we aim to strengthen education offerings, expand access to high-quality teacher training and create meaningful pathways into English language teaching and international careers.
We're also keen to collaborate with organisations that support or complement initiatives such as the JET Programme, helping prepare aspiring teachers with internationally recognised qualifications before they begin their teaching journey in Japan.

Japan continues to invest in English language education across schools, universities and the corporate sector, creating sustained demand for qualified English language teachers.
Across Asia and Europe, language schools, employers and government programmes are increasingly recognising UK Ofqual-regulated Level 5 TEFL qualifications as the benchmark for professional teacher training.

With Ofqual regulation and alignment to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Level 5, these qualifications provide institutions and employers with a trusted, internationally recognised standard.

At The TEFL Institute Group, we believe great teacher training creates lasting opportunities - for learners, educators and partner organisations alike.
We look forward to collaborating with fellow Chamber members to support teaching excellence, lifelong learning and the continued growth of English language education in Japan.

Seeking Irish Partners for Foster Care Innovation & Social Impact🤝

"We aim to connect with visionaries interested in innovative foster care support systems and international collaboration.

Our focus centres on pilot programs, knowledge exchange, and social impact projects. We build initiatives that strengthen children, youth, education, and community resilience. By bridging global insights with local expertise, we create scalable solutions for vulnerable youth.

🔶New NPO Member🔶

The IJCC is delighted to welcome NPO法人EdFuture as our newest NPO member.

Commenting on the decision to join the IJCC, EdFuture shared:

We are truly honoured to become a member of the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce.

Through our programmes, we hope to inspire young people in Japan to take their first step toward the world while serving as a bridge between Ireland and Japan through education and cultural exchange.

We are excited to join the Chamber and look forward to sharing our experiences, building meaningful connections, and inspiring even more people together with the IJCC community.

EdFuture is a Japanese non-profit organisation dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for young people who face barriers to studying abroad, particularly due to financial circumstances or regional disparities.

Founded in 2022, EdFuture launched its first overseas programme in San Francisco. In 2025, we expanded our destinations to include Ireland, where our programmes are supported by the Embassy of Japan in Ireland.

We believe that every student should have the opportunity to experience the world, regardless of where they live or their financial background. Through our international education programmes, we support high school and university students in accessing life-changing learning experiences, developing global perspectives, and building the confidence to shape the future.

By creating opportunities for global learning and cultural exchange, EdFuture aims to build lasting bridges between Japan and Ireland while empowering the next generation to make a positive impact on society.

CERTIFY: Build Trust with Proof

As sustainability claims become more common, trust becomes harder to earn.

Terms such as "eco-friendly," "green," and even "regenerative" are now widely used across marketing and corporate communications. But without evidence, these claims quickly lose meaning. In an era of growing scepticism and greenwashing, intention alone is no longer enough.

This is where certification matters.

Certification is not about collecting badges. At its best, it is a system of accountability that helps organisations measure impact, improve practice, and build credibility through independent verification.
