Arigatou International works with people from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds to promote children’s rights and well-being at all levels—from the grassroots to the global. Believing that every girl and boy is a precious treasure of humanity, Arigatou International draws on universal principles of common good found in religious and spiritual traditions and the United Nations Convention on

the Rights of the Child. Arigatou employs interfaith and intercultural approaches to promote children’s rights and well-being, seeking to bring about positive change at all levels—from the grassroots to the global. Arigatou values children for who they are and fully involves them in its work, ensuring their safe and meaningful participation while affirming their human dignity. Arigatou International collaborates with religious leaders and faith communities, international agencies, civil society organizations, governments—and most importantly, children and young people themselves—in more than 80 countries around the world. Arigatou International's four global initiatives are the Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC), Ethics Education for Children, Prayer and Action for Children, and End Child Poverty.

On Day 2 of the Global Summit, we will participate in a key panel discussion on nurturing the spiritual development of children in the early years.

This interactive dialogue, moderated by our Executive Director, Maria Lucia Uribe, will bring together global Early Childhood Development experts and Community-Based practitioners, including Dr. Siobhan Fitzpatrick, Regional Vice Chairperson at ECPC - Early Childhood Peace Consortium, Dr. Nelson Arns Neumann, International Coordinator at Pastoral da Criança, and Afshan Jamal, Child Protection Specialist at Islamic Relief Pakistan.

We will explore how nurturing a child's spirituality is foundational for a child’s lifelong development and well-being, acting as a powerful shield against violence and a catalyst for true human flourishing.

How can global events truly reflect the realities of the next generation? A diverse group of young leaders from across the globe has stepped up to provide a set of Standards for Meaningful Participation. This is a guide shaped by their own lived experiences to ensure global platforms are inclusive, respectful, and impactful.

Arigatou International has supported this initiative since 2025 to ensure the participation of children in global events remains ethical, meaningful, and safe.

Invitamos a organizaciones, instituciones, profesionales y actores clave que trabajan en el desarrollo de la primera infancia, crianza, educación, desarrollo social y desarrollo espiritual a sumarse a este importante diálogo.

Objetivos:
