The countdown begins! 3️⃣ ..2️⃣ ..1️⃣ ..⏱️

No child should ever live in fear of violence. Yet for millions worldwide, this is a daily reality.

The Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children in Manila marks a critical opportunity to translate global commitments into real protection. Now, more than ever, governments, agencies, allies, and advocates need to stand for children.

As part of the Group of Friends, Arigatou International is bringing the voice of faith communities to the table ➡️ including through a satellite event on 16 November.

To ensure children’s voices are at the heart of the agenda, we are partnering with Save the Children Schweiz/Suisse on behalf of the CSO Forum to End Violence Against Children to coordinate meaningful child participation throughout the conference.

Ending violence against children is an urgent moral imperative. The time for action is now.

WE ARE ALL FOR CHILDREN!

Last year, our programs reached 109,730 children across 21 countries, equipping them to navigate today’s world with empathy, critical thinking, and responsibility! 👧🧒✨

When we nurture children's values and spirituality, they learn to celebrate diversity, resolve conflict through dialogue, and make ethical decisions. As they grow in mutual respect and learn to engage in ethical reflection, they are empowered to unite across cultures and faiths to bring lasting, positive change to their communities! 🌍

None of this impact would be possible without our dedicated partners, local allies, and the inspiring educators and facilitators working directly with children on the ground every day. 💛

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the Ethics Education for Children - Arigatou International Annual Report! 🌟

Titled "Shaping the Spaces Where Children Flourish," this publication reflects a year of profound commitment, collaboration, and action toward building a more just and peaceful world for all children.

Together with our partners, facilitators, and grassroots leaders, our team in Geneva reached meaningful milestones:
- Over 109,000 children reached through ethics education programs
- More than 30,000 educators and caregivers trained
- Stronger networks of solidarity built with 63 partner organizations

From classrooms to community centers, these efforts demonstrate the power of nurturing children's spirituality and ethical values.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this work possible.

Take a look through the report to discover the stories, data, and voices behind these achievements!

Shaping the Spaces Where Children Flourish: Our Annual Report is Live!

This past year, we supported educators, parents, caregivers, and entire national systems to co-create safe, empowering spaces where children can flourish, thrive, and learn to live together in solidarity.

By embracing intercultural and interreligious learning while nurturing children’s innate spirituality, we laid the foundation for young minds to appreciate diversity, challenge stereotypes, and unlock their own agency.

Key Achievements:
👦 109,730 children actively participated in our programs
👩‍🏫 30,959 educators, community leaders, parents, and caregivers trained
🤝 63 partner organizations across 22 countries working alongside us

Real transformation requires collective action, and we are grateful to every partner who made this impact possible.

When war forces a child to flee their home, we risk losing their future.

From Sudan to Myanmar, Palestine to Ukraine, children forced to flee carry the same human desire: to wake up safe, to learn, and to live in peace.

Protecting refugees is not a favor or an option; it is a shared global responsibility.

Listen to these brave young voices telling us that children's safety and dignity cannot wait, and mobilize now to protect children in armed conflict.

Children do not start wars, yet they are always the most affected.

When conflict breaks out, their perspectives are often lost. Yet they carry the deepest understanding of its human cost.

Protection is more than a roof overhead. It is the preservation of dignity, the freedom to learn, and the courage to hope.

Because no one is safe until the most vulnerable among us are.

Seventy-five years ago, in the wake of the Second World War, the world made a historic promise: anyone forced to flee their home has the fundamental right to seek safety and protection.

That promise was never meant to be exclusive. It was meant for all of us.

Today, as millions of families are caught in the crossfire of conflict, that promise is being tested. And no one understands the cost of breaking that promise more than children. They do not start wars, yet they suffer the heaviest toll.

Swipe through to read the powerful messages of three children experiencing the reality of conflict, reminding us of the promise the world made 75 years ago.
