This interactive dialogue, moderated by our Executive Director, Maria Lucia Uribe, will bring together global Early Childhood Development experts and Community-Based practitioners, including Dr. Siobhan Fitzpatrick, Regional Vice Chairperson at ECPC - Early Childhood Peace Consortium, Dr. Nelson Arns Neumann, International Coordinator at Pastoral da Criança, and Afshan Jamal, Child Protection Specialist at Islamic Relief Pakistan.

We will explore how nurturing a child's spirituality is foundational for a child’s lifelong development and well-being, acting as a powerful shield against violence and a catalyst for true human flourishing.

A diverse group of young leaders from across the globe has stepped up to provide a set of Standards for Meaningful Participation. This is a guide shaped by their own lived experiences to ensure global platforms are inclusive, respectful, and impactful.

Arigatou International has supported this initiative since 2025 to ensure the participation of children in global events remains ethical, meaningful, and safe.

A través de la reflexión conceptual, hallazgos recientes y una orientación práctica, este seminario web presentará enfoques clave que apoyan el bienestar integral y el florecimiento de los niños y niñas al nutrir sus capacidades espirituales innatas.

Invitamos a organizaciones, instituciones, profesionales y actores clave que trabajan en el desarrollo de la primera infancia, crianza, educación, desarrollo social y desarrollo espiritual a sumarse a este importante diálogo.

Objetivos:
✔ Reflexionar sobre los fundamentos conceptuales del desarrollo espiritual de los niños y niñas como parte esencial de un desarrollo pleno, sólido e integral.
✔ Vincular al desarrollo espiritual infantil con marcos de referencia y evidencias más amplias sobre el florecimiento humano, el bienestar y el desarrollo infantil.
