【International｜A-PAD COO Firzan Hashim Speaks at AVPN Global Conference 2026】
【国際｜AVPN Global Conference 2026でA-PAD COOフィルザン・ハシムが登壇】

From August 25–27, the AVPN Global Conference 2026 was held in New Delhi, India, bringing together more than 2,000 foundations, impact investors, financial institutions, companies, governments and development organizations from around the world.

On August 26, A-PAD COO Firzan Hashim joined the main-stage session “Coordinating in Crisis: Disaster Response in a Complex World,” discussing disaster response and resilience alongside leaders from Emirates Nature – WWF and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

Drawing on A-PAD’s experience in disaster response, Hashim highlighted the importance of connecting governments, businesses, humanitarian organizations and local communities, while ensuring that assistance reflects the actual needs of affected communities. He also introduced the AVPN x A-PAD Disaster Management Initiative, launched jointly during the conference.

8月25〜27日、インド・ニューデリーでAVPN Global Conference 2026が開催され、世界各地から2,000人を超える財団、インパクト投資家、金融機関、企業、政府、開発機関などが参加しました。

8月26日のメインステージ「Coordinating in Crisis: Disaster Response in a Complex World」には、A-PAD COOフィルザン・ハシムが登壇。Emirates Nature – WWFや国際赤十字赤新月社連盟（IFRC）の登壇者とともに、複雑化する災害への対応やレジリエンス強化について議論しました。

ハシムはA-PADが災害現場で培ってきた経験をもとに、政府、企業、人道支援団体、地域コミュニティなど多様な主体をつなぎ、それぞれの強みを生かしながら、地域の実際のニーズに基づいた支援を行う重要性を強調。また、AVPNと共同で発表した**「AVPN x A-PAD Disaster Management Initiative」**を紹介しました。

A-PADは今後も、多様なパートナーとの協働を通じて、アジア地域の災害レジリエンス向上に取り組んでいきます。

【Indonesia｜Earthquake Response – Psychosocial and Health Support】
【インドネシア｜地震緊急支援 サイコロジカル・ヘルスサポートを実施】

A-PAD Indonesia (A-PADI) has begun providing support to earthquake-affected communities in West Manggarai.

Ahead of the activities, six volunteers from the FPRB in Golo Mori Village joined online training sessions on August 20–21 to prepare for providing psychosocial support to children.

On August 24, A-PADI conducted activities in Nobo, Tondong Belang Village, combining a communal kitchen workshop with psychosocial and health support. 25 children received psychosocial support, while 34 people received health support and necessary medicines in collaboration with a local health center.

Residents of Nobo continue to sleep in tents every night, even as many have returned to farming, tourism and other daily work.

A-PADインドネシア（A-PADI）は、西マンガライ県の地震被災地域で支援活動を開始しました。

活動に先立ち、8月20〜21日には、ゴロモリ村FPRBのボランティア6人を対象に、子どもへのサイコロジカルサポートに関するオンライン研修を実施しました。

8月24日には、トンドンブラン村ノボ集落で共同キッチンの運営・調理を通じた支援を実施。子ども25人へのサイコロジカルサポートに加え、地元の診療所と連携し、34人にヘルスサポートと必要な市販薬を提供しました。

ノボ集落では、住民が現在も毎晩テントで寝泊まりする一方、農業や観光など日常の仕事も再開しています。

【Nepal｜Flood Emergency Response – Relief Support in Rasuwa】
【ネパール｜洪水緊急支援 ラスワ郡で支援物資を提供】

On September 3 and 4, 2026, with the support of the Nepal Medical Association and Nepal Student Union, a representative from the Bangladesh team provided relief support in flood-affected Rasuwa District.

Solar lights and solar panels were officially handed over to the Nepal Armed Police Force (APF), while other relief materials were distributed to families affected by the floods.

Through collaboration with local organizations and partners, A-PAD continues working to respond to needs identified in affected communities and support families recovering from the disaster.

2026年9月3日・4日、ネパール医師会およびネパール学生連合の協力のもと、バングラデシュチームのメンバーが、洪水で被害を受けたラスワ郡で支援活動を実施しました。

ネパール武装警察（APF）へソーラーライトとソーラーパネルを提供したほか、洪水の被害を受けた家族へ支援物資を配布しました。

A-PADは、現地の団体やパートナーとの連携を通じて、被災地で確認されたニーズに応え、被災した方々の生活再建を支える活動を続けています。

【Nepal｜Flood Emergency Response – Solar Equipment Delivered to APF】
【ネパール｜洪水緊急支援 ソーラーライト・ソーラーパネルを提供】

On September 3, 2026, solar lights and solar panels were handed over to the Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) in the severely affected Rasuwa District.

The equipment will help restore nighttime safety, security and connectivity at temporary shelters and essential facilities, including community spaces, temporary latrines and medical tents.

As communities continue to cope with the impacts of the devastating floods, A-PAD continues working with partners on the ground to respond to identified needs and support affected communities.

2026年9月3日、甚大な被害を受けたラスワ郡で、ネパール武装警察（APF）へソーラーライトとソーラーパネルを提供しました。

これらの機材は、地域の一時避難場所や仮設トイレ、医療テントなどで活用され、夜間の安全確保や防犯、通信・連絡手段の確保に役立てられます。

洪水による影響が続く中、A-PADは引き続き現地のパートナーと連携し、確認されたニーズに応じた支援を進めています。

【Nepal｜Flood Emergency Response – Field Update】
【ネパール｜洪水緊急支援 現地からの活動報告】

A-PAD continues its emergency response in flood-affected Nepal.

Our team visited the Military Training Center in Trishuli, Nuwakot District, which is currently serving as an important hub for rescue, relief and recovery operations. A field hospital has also been established at the center.

A-PAD handed over medicines and essential supplies to those managing the center. The items included medicines for non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and hyperlipidemia, as well as medicines for common illnesses and skin conditions.

Face masks, antibacterial soap and sanitary products were also provided.

The photos from the field show the scale of the destruction caused by the floods, as communities continue to face the impacts of the disaster.

A-PAD will continue working with partners on the ground to assess needs and support affected communities.

A-PADのチームは、ヌワコット郡トリシュリの軍事訓練センターを訪問しました。現在、この施設は救助・支援・復旧活動の重要な拠点となっており、野外病院も設置されています。

A-PADは、センターを運営する関係者に医薬品や生活に必要な物資を届けました。糖尿病、高血圧、喘息、脂質異常症などの非感染性疾患に対応する医薬品のほか、一般的な疾患や皮膚症状に対応する医薬品も提供しました。

また、フェイスマスク、抗菌石けん、生理用品なども届けています。

現地から届いた写真からも、洪水による被害の大きさがうかがえます。被災した地域では、今も災害の影響が続いています。

A-PADは引き続き現地のパートナーと連携し、ニーズを把握しながら、被災した地域への支援を続けていきます。

The needs following the devastating floods in Nepal extend far beyond immediate relief.

From clothing and school supplies to medical and health support, affected communities are facing needs across nearly every aspect of daily life.

The scale of destruction also means that recovery will require more than material assistance. Psychological support will be important for people who have experienced the loss of their homes, belongings and livelihoods.

Responding to a disaster of this magnitude requires collective action — from local communities, humanitarian organizations and the international community.

A-PAD continues working alongside local partners to understand needs on the ground and determine how support can reach affected communities.

ネパールで発生した大規模な洪水による被災地のニーズは、発災直後の緊急支援だけにとどまりません。

衣類や学用品などの生活に必要な物資から、医療・保健面での支援まで、被災した地域では日常生活のあらゆる面で支援が必要とされています。

また、被害の大きさを考えると、復旧・復興には物資による支援だけでなく、心理社会的な支援も重要になります。自宅や家財、生計の手段を失った人々が生活を立て直していくためには、長期的な支援が必要です。

この規模の災害に対応するためには、地域住民、人道支援団体、そして国際社会が力を合わせることが不可欠です。

A-PADは引き続き現地パートナーと連携し、現場のニーズを把握しながら、被災した地域に必要な支援を届けるための活動を続けています。
