On October 3rd, Alliance for Humanitarian Architecture marks its 10th anniversary.

We are able to reach this milestone thanks to the generous support and dedication of everyone who has been involved with and supported Alliance for Humanitarian Architecture’s activities over the years. We extend our deepest gratitude to all of you who have walked alongside us throughout these past 10 years.

Since the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011—prior to our official founding—we have continued our activities with a heartfelt commitment: 'To make this world better.'

Over these 10 years, through disaster relief efforts and events across Japan and abroad, we have promoted reconstruction support, disaster preparedness awareness, and the importance of strong, supportive local communities.

Yet even today, there are still people in need of support in Noto (Earthquake 2024), Kumamoto (Earthquake 2025), Chile (Repeating forest fires), and many other places around the world.

'I want to help.' 'I want to do something.'

There are those who long to reach out, and those who urgently need assistance.

However, the reality is that due to funding shortages and various administrative constraints, those heartfelt desires cannot always reach those in need quickly enough.

We need to deliver the positive impact faster and to bring essential support to those who need it most.

To address this continuing challenge, Alliance for Humanitarian Architecture is taking this 10th anniversary as a defining milestone to launch a new initiative that pushes our activities another step forward.

Alliance for Humanitarian Architecture exists today because of the many people we have met and the support we have received over the past decade.

That is why we see this 10th anniversary not as a finish line, but as a brand-new start for the next 10 years ahead.

What one person cannot do alone can surely be changed when we bring everyone's power together.

To build a brighter future together.

Hoy, 3 de octubre, la ALIANZA POR LA ARQUITECTURA HUMANITARIA celebra su 10.º aniversario.
Hemos podido alcanzar este importante hito gracias al valioso apoyo y la colaboración de todas las personas que se han involucrado y apoyado las actividades de ALIANZA POR LA ARQUITECTURA HUMANITARIA a lo largo de los años. Queremos expresar nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a todos aquellos que nos han acompañado durante esta década.
Desde el Gran Terremoto del Este de Japón en 2011, antes de la fundación formal de AHA, hemos desarrollado nuestras actividades con un único objetivo: 'Hacer de este mundo un lugar un poco mejor'.
Durante estos 10 años, a través de actividades de asistencia y eventos en varias zonas afectadas tanto en Japón como en el extranjero, hemos transmitido la importancia del apoyo a la reconstrucción, la concienciación sobre la prevención de desastres y el valor de las comunidades locales, donde las personas se apoyan mutuamente.
Sin embargo, hoy en día todavía hay personas que necesitan ayuda en Noto, Kumamoto, Chile y muchas otras partes del mundo.
Hay personas que desean brindar su ayuda, y hay personas que la necesitan con urgencia.
A pesar de ello, la realidad es que debido a la falta de fondos, a dificultades burocráticas y a diversas restricciones administrativas, ese deseo no siempre se puede hacer llegar de inmediato.
Llevar los sentimientos de ayuda más rápido. Entregar la asistencia necesaria a quienes más la necesitan.
Para hacer frente a este desafío, AHA: ALIANZA POR LA ARQUITECTURA HUMANITARIA aprovecha este 10.º aniversario como un hito para dar un paso más allá e iniciar una nueva iniciativa que impulse aún más nuestras actividades.
Si ALIANZA POR LA ARQUITECTURA HUMANITARIA existe hoy, es gracias a todas las personas con las que nos hemos cruzado y que nos han apoyado a lo largo de estos 10 años.
Por eso, deseamos que este décimo aniversario no sea una meta, sino un nuevo punto de partida hacia los próximos 10 años. Lo que una persona sola no puede hacer, sin duda se puede cambiar si unimos las fuerzas de todos.
Para crear un futuro más amable y solidario.

10月3日， 人連災難救助協會 正式迎來了成立10週年的重要時刻。
能夠迎來這個值得紀念的里程碑，完全歸功於一直以來參與並支持 人連災難救助協會活動的每一位朋友。對於在這10年歲月中與我們同行、給予我們力量的所有人，我們致上最深切的感謝。
自人連災難救助協會創立前的2011年東日本大地震以來，我們始終懷揣著『讓這個世界變得美好一點點』的心願，持續深耕至今。
在這10年間，我們透過日本國內外的各項災區支援活動與各類企劃，傳遞著復興支援、防災意識，以及人與人相互扶持的在地社區網絡之重要性。
然而時至今日，無論是能登（地震，2024）、熊本（地震，2026），還是智利（經常性的大火災難）等世界各地，依然有許多需要協助的人們。
『想要伸出援手』 『想要為他們做點什麼』
有著懷抱這份心願的人，也有著亟需幫助的人。
但現實卻是，往往因為資金不足或繁瑣手續等種種限制，無法及時將這份溫暖傳遞出去。
為了面對並解決這項課題，人連災難救助協會將10週年視為一個全新契機，決定邁出嶄新的一步，推動更進一步的支援行動。希望讓善意更快抵達。 將所需的支援，及時送到需要的人手中。

正是因為這10年來遇到了這麼多溫暖的人、獲得了這麼多的支持，才有了今天的 人連災難救助協會。
因此，我們不把10週年視為終點，而是邁向未來10年的全新起點。
一個人做不到的事，只要凝聚大家的力量，就一定能改變未來。
為了打造一個更加溫暖的未來。

本日10月3日、一般社団法人ヒトレンは創設10周年を迎えました。

この記念すべき節目を迎えることができましたのも、これまでヒトレンの活動に関わり、支えてくださった皆さまのお力添えがあったからこそです。
これまで歩んできた10年に関わってくださったすべての皆さまに、心より御礼申し上げます。

私たちは、ヒトレン設立前の2011年に起きた東日本大震災以来、「この世界を少しでも良くするために」という想いを胸に、活動を続けてきました。

この10年間、国内外のさまざまな被災地での支援活動やイベントを通じて、復興支援や防災への意識、そして人と人が支え合う地域コミュニティの大切さを伝えてきました。

しかし今も、能登、熊本、そしてチリをはじめ、世界各地で支援を必要としている人々がいます。

「助けたい」
「何かしたい」

そう願う人がいて、支援を必要としている人がいる。

それでも、資金不足や手続き上のさまざまな制約によって、その想いをすぐに届けることができない現実があります。

想いを、もっと早く。
必要な人へ、必要な支援を。

この課題に向き合うため、ヒトレンは10周年を一つの節目として、これまでの活動をさらに一歩前へ進める新たな取り組みを始めます。

10年間、たくさんの人と出会い、支えていただいたからこそ、今のヒトレンがあります。

だからこそ、この10周年をゴールではなく、これからの10年に向けた新たなスタートにしたいと思っています。

ひとりではできないことも、みんなの力が集まれば、きっと変えていける。

やさしい未来をつくるために。

ヒトレンは、これからも歩み続けます。

本日、石巻市北上町にある「にっこり商店」がコンビニ、ローソンとしてオープンしました。

この建物は東日本大震災の時に私が担当したプロジェクトで、「パン一つ買うのに車を20分走らせないとならない地域に人が集える商店を始めたい」とのお話からスタートしました。

その他にも、にっこりサンパークにある仮設住宅地で引きこもりにならないよう、自身で育てた野菜の販売や、集まってお茶っこの開催、地域の将来について語り合い、親が仕事などで帰りが遅い時でも子供たちが放課後に集まって休んだり、遊んだり、英語教室開いたりできる場所として生まれました。

支援させていただいた施設が10年以上たってもこのように地域に貢献できることを大変嬉しく思います。

ヒトレンでは、公的な支援を受けにくい方や、小規模ながらもその方が復興することで地域の復興に大きく貢献していただける方を優先的に支援させていただく方針にて活動をしております。

建築の支援はお金と時間が多くかかる大変難しい支援方法ですが、皆様のご理解と応援いただき、今後もこのように持続性ある良い支援を進められるようお力添えいただければ幸いです。
