Sendai TM club president, TM Ito, won this year's TM Area speech contest (北東北地区), won the Division speech contest (北海道、東北、北関東地区 ), and will compete in the District speech contest (全国大会).

At our club meeting on 5/7, he had his final rehearsal for the contest, and we all wished him the best of luck. In our club, experienced and even beginner members are working hard at their own levels! Why don’t you see the atmosphere for yourself?

Our next meeting (hybrid) will be held on May 21(Wed).

Look at the smiles on the faces of our members! Everyone enjoyed the April 16th hybrid meeting. A new member made a Thought of the day debut, another new member made a Table Topic master debut, a guest speaker gave a speech about his business experience, and there was an excitement in the evaluation session as well. We enjoyed our meeting on April 2. It was a wonderful night! A young member made his TOD debut. A new member tried the table topic to share her childhood memories. A veteran member attended from his home in Australia. Another experienced member joined from Poland while traveling. We are waiting to hear from those who are interested in this club! We had a productive meeting on March 19. A young member gave a positive speech about his job.

A new member joined our club. We enjoyed an active discussion on TM activities during the business session.It was a lot of fun and learning.

We had a fruitful meeting on 3/5. A member gave a rehearsal speech for the area contest. A member gave a Pathways path completion speech. A guest gave a challenge for a table topic. We had a very productive meeting on February 5. We listened to a speech given by a member who will join the area speech contest and gave him feedback. It was a nice discussion that showed the members’ warm support for the speaker.

We had a great meeting on Jan 29th with a member who hadn't come for a while and a new member. It was really nice to have them with us.

Our next meeting will have a special program.
Date and Time: February 5(Wed), 7:15 p.m.
Place: Online ( Zoom)　　

Area Speech contestants from STMC will give their speeches followed by a time of advice by members. We will also have table topics as we usually do. If you are interested in our activity, contact us at [email protected] ! STMC members are waiting for you (see the photo)!

We had a wonderful meeting on Jan 22nd. One of the experienced members presented a speech describing a difficult topic with carefully drawn diagrams. We felt his passion! (Look at the photo)

The next meeting will be on January 29th (Wednesday) at 7:15 pm, online and TM. Hatakeyama (former division F director) will give a speech about his experiences for those who are considering joining STMC and current STMC members. If you are interested, contact us at [email protected] !

We had our first meeting for 'Year of the Snake' 2025 on Jan. 8 with members’ smiling faces. We had a fruitful discussion on our monthly meeting schedule based on the pre-survey. We are trying to enjoy active meetings in 2025!

On December 18, we had our last hybrid meeting of 2024. In the second half of the meeting, we had an open discussion on how to have our regular meetings. New members also presented their sincere opinions in public speaking style (See the photo).

We had an exciting hybrid meeting on Nov. 20th. The table topic questions were given from Chicago airport (TTM was there!) . The prepared speeches were a very positive icebreaking speech and a thoughtful social speech from an experienced member. We enjoyed the variety of content.
