【4/7 Season of Qingming (Fresh Green)】

•　T san (Prepared Speaker 1):
He delivered a presentation on automobile inspection.
He stated that the inspection costs a lot of money and
if something is wrong with a car, there will be unexpected expense.
Having said that, he recommended user automobile inspection, which is reasonable than usual inspection.

•　Rikko san(Prepared Speaker 2):
She started to climb mountain from last year so that she can visit Yakushima Island.
She joined the mountain climbing community and embracing joy of climbing mountain.
Also, she shared her experience of climbing Izumigatake and through her training she could gain strength in physical and mind and caring for the nature.

•　Table Topics:
We answered to the questions related to spring.

車検に関するプレゼンをしてくれました。
車検にはお金がかかり、車が何かおかしければ、突然の出費もあると述べました。
そのうえで、通常の車検より安いユーザー車検をお勧めしてくれました。

昨年から屋久島訪問すべく登山を始めました。
登山コミュニティに加わり、登山の喜びをかみしめました。
また泉ヶ岳に登った経験について話してくれ、
トレーニングを通じて体と心が強くなったこと、自然への愛情を育てることができたとのことです。

【3/24 Small Steps Lead to Big Results】
(Japanese follows English)

•　Misaki san (Prepared Speaker 1):
She delivered a presentation on her Polish language learning.
She chose to learn Polish because she was interested in Eastern Europe,
wanted to learn an unfamiliar language and loved Chopin's music.
She says that Polish language is easy to read and pronunce but its grammatical rules are difficult to follow for Japanese.

•　Nyagura san(Prepared Speaker 2):
She looked back on her three years in Sendai.
Before the COVID era, she made relations with people through drinking, which she likes.
But with the spread of the COVID infections, she had fewer and fewer drinking times.
During that time, she looked for other ways to communicate,
and she joined Toastmasters Club and learned how to express her thoughts effectively by using gestures and so on.
She is now looking forward to her life in Osaka, where she will move soon.

•　Table Topics:
We gave comments on the cartoons from the magazine called New Yorkers.

ポーランド語学習に関するプレゼンをしてくれました。
東欧に興味があり、なじみのない言語を学びたくてショパンの音楽が好きだったため、
ポーランド語を選んだとのことでした。
日本人にとってポーランド語は読みやすく発音しやすいけれど文法のルールは難しいとのことでした。

•　Nyaguraさん（準備スピーカー2）
仙台での３年間を振り返りました。
コロナ前は好きな飲みを通じて人間関係を築いていましたが、
コロナの感染拡大により飲み会の機会が減ってしまいました。
そんな時期に他のコミュニケーション方法を模索し、
トーストマスターズクラブに入会してジェスチャーなどを使って自分の考えを効果的に表現する方法を学んだとのことです。
もうすぐ移り住む大阪での生活を楽しみにしているとのことです。

ニューヨーカーズという雑誌の漫画に各々がコメントしました。

He talked about his daughter's English education.
She is now learning English and he expressed his will to look after that.

•　T san(Prepared Speaker 2):
He talked about the Division E Contest, which took place in Kashiwa City in Chiba Prefecture.
He reported in detail about how many people were there or what kind of contestants attended.

We answered the questions related to memorable or compelling things.

He delilvered a presentation on the new Pathway system, which we use in Toastmasters learning.
He explained what kind of projects we are supposed to work on from now on.

He talked about his Toastmasters experience for 10 years.
He talked about how he joined Toastmasters Club and so on in detail.

We answered the questions related to resilience or stepping out.

【2/3 Get through the harsh winter】
(Japanese follows English)

•　Masami san (Prepared Speaker 1):
She talked about her own communication experience.
Mentioning moments when she answered the question but the conversation still failed,
she suggested to delay responses, depending on what the person wants when he/she is having conversations.

•　Izumin san (Prepared Speaker 2):
She delivered a toast to commemorate a member who passed away last month.
She looked back on how much kind he was, his dedication and so on,
and she concluded a toast with thankfulness for him and statement that we will never forget him.

•　Table Topics:
We answered the questions related to warmth.

先月亡くなったメンバーを追悼する挨拶をしました。
その方がいかに親切であったか、どれだけの貢献をしてくださったかなどを振り返り、
その方への感謝とその方を忘れないという一言で締めくくりました。

He talked about how to manage passwords.
In this era, most people use online services and have passwords for them.
Quoting his episode, he introduced the methods of keeping passwords in online and paper files and changing them often.

•　Nyagura san (Prepared Speaker 2):
She talked about her experience in Noh, the Japanese traditional art.
She showed us some photos of her Noh performance or related materials.
She has performed Noh at the tomb of Masamune Date,
the legend lord of the Date clan (Miyagi Prefecture in the Edo period), who loved Noh much.

•　Table Topics:
We answered the questions related to the theme "once in a lifetime".

パスワードの管理方法について話してくれました。
ほとんどの人がオンラインサービスを利用し、パスワードを設定している現代。
自身の経験を引用し、パスワードをオンラインと紙のファイルで保存し、こまめに変える方法を紹介しました。

日本の伝統芸能である能の経験についてスピーチしてくれました。
自分自身が能を演じた時の写真や関連素材の写真を見せてくれました。
能を愛した江戸時代の宮城県を治めた伝説の伊達藩主・伊達政宗の墓前で能を披露したこともあるそうです。

He talked about his visit to Northern Thailand around New Year's Day.
He shared us photos and videos he took there and
mentioned some visiting spots in the country, such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai.

He delilvered a presentation on the Table Topics.
He mentioned how to manage the impromptu speech on given topics;
decide and declare your message and structure and practice, practice, practice.

He talked about Goryo Hamaguchi,
who contributed to saving many people's lives in the disaster in Wakayama Prefecture in 1854, the late Edo period.
He is well known for "A Living God" by Lafcadio Hearn.

•　Atsuhiko san(Prepared Speaker 2):
He delilvered a presentation on the new Pathway system, which we use in Toastmasters learning.
He mentioned various differences in the Pathway and encouraged us to do well in the system.

•　Table Topics:
We answered the questions related to Christmas or how we spent this year.

【12/9 The final month of this year】

He talked about the pros and cons about the technological advancements.
He stated that they enabled us to communicate more easily and more conveniently,
but at the same time it has become superficial and sometimes you have to pay for the services you don't use so often.

•　E (Prepared Speaker 2):
2nd Speaker was me, E. I talked about the activities in another club in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture.
I attended international festival in Morioka as a member of the club
and I talked about the promotion activity there.

•　Table Topics:
We answered the questions on the ending year and the new year.
