【EN↓】迷宮堂第３９工期、2025年に入って９回目で最後の工事が無事に終了しました！今回のメインイベントは大人数いないと無理な三和土（たたき）の施工でした。前半で土間空間の壁の左官（漆喰と土を混ぜた半田仕上げ）と整地を終わらせ、レンタルしたミキサーを搬入。たたきの材料の大部分は現場でストックしていた壁土（約３立米）を再利用し、購入した消石灰と苦汁と掻き混ぜる。学生と友達も参戦して、生産ラインで効率よく作業が進む！凸凹をレーザーで確認しながら、だんだん平になっていく面を作る感覚は、コンクリートの土間と違って面白い。もう一回やりたいぐらい、単純に楽しい（疲れるけど！）
二日間で二層に分けて施工し、初日に水分が多かったので調整して最終的によそさうな仕上がりになりました。綺麗に乾きますように！年明けてから土間の中の造作、そしてお風呂の作業に入ります。最終日に鉄釜が到着して、施主がすでにお湯に浸かる夢を見始めている。それでは、良いお年をお過ごしください！
We finished our 39th week of construction, and ninth of the year with the completion of our pounded earth floor in the shop space. After finishing the walls (a mixture of plaster and dirt), we leveled the ground and carried a 100 kilo mixer up the hill. Most of the material (about three cubic meters) was wall dirt left over from demolition that we had saved for this purpose. Mix in some lime and a bit of bittern and it hardens into a strong surface once it’s pounded. We got a good production line going with students and friends’ help, and the whole process went smoothly. Simple and fun, we wouldn’t mind doing it again, although the second day was incredibly exhausting! Hopefully it dries well.
In the new year we’ll move on to shelving, various small details, and finishing the bag. On the last day the steel bathtub arrived, and Sam is already dreaming of taking a hot soak. We wish you a happy new year!
