Chapter 1553 Teammates! We will be hosting Kadena Air Base's POW/MIA 24-hour Memorial Run and Vigil to never forget. A few of our teammates have done an incredible job putting this event together, with merchandise for sale and an ability to sign up for reading and/or running during the event.

Every sale will provide money to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency, while every lap ran and every name read will be a reminder that they are not forgotten.

⚖️ Military Sexual Trauma Accountability Act Introduced

A bipartisan Senate bill has been introduced to authorize service members and veterans to file civil negligence claims against the federal government regarding cases of military sexual assault or harassment. Supporters agree the legislation would strengthen accountability and provide survivors with additional legal options.

🪖New Leadership at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency

Anthony Tata has formally assumed oversight of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA). Under this new leadership, the Department of War/Defense maintains its unwavering focus on the search, recovery, and identification of missing personnel to provide closure to families

🏡 VA Mortgage Relief Program Available Through 2030

The Department of Veterans Affairs has established a mortgage assistance initiative through 2030, targeting veterans experiencing financial hardships to prevent home foreclosure.
