Osaka, Japan, 13 October 2025. Philippine Consul General to Osaka, Mr. Voltaire D. Mauricio, presided over a coordination meeting with the Filipino Community leaders and volunteers held at the Migrant Workers' Office (MWO) in Osaka. During the meeting, Consul General Mauricio once again sought the support of the Filipino Community leaders and volunteers for the Pistang Pilipino sa Kobe project to be held at Minato-no Mori Park in Kobe City on 25-26 October 2025.

The Pistang Pilipino sa Kobe is organized by One Network Incorporated, with the support of the Philippine Consulate General in Osaka, and in partnership with a private group called, We Are One. The Pistang Pilipino brand will continue to showcase the best of the Filipinos and the Philippines through music and entertainment, song and dance, food and drinks, and other services.

Consul General Mauricio took the opportunity to personally thank the Filipino Community leaders and volunteers for the success of the inaugural Pistang Pilipino sa Osaka held in Sakai City on 21-22 June 2025. "Let us keep the Pistang Pilipino brand strong and we need to work together to make things happen for this project", Consul General Mauricio said.

The meeting was organized by MWO Osaka led by Labor Representative Ms. Elizabeth Marie R. Estrada, Mr. Jonel Q. Habon, and Ms. Mary Antoniete Dotig. Also present during the meeting were Ms. Maria Luisa Kondo of One Network Incorporated, Ms. Vivian Hernaez of We Are One group, Mr. Jose Juancho A. Perez of Osaka PCG, and 26 Filipino Community leaders and volunteers.

Our teams are also conducting assessments to identify urgent needs, and more assistance and responders are being deployed.
