One of the members who served as a contest official at the Area C4 Speech Contest on February 23, 2026, Aoi, looks back on her experience. For your information, this was her first time joining an area contest since she joined Nishinomiya TGIF in September 2025.

Serving as a Timer at the Area Contest was a valuable experience for me.
As a Timer, our main role was to keep track of each speaker’s speech time and give signals accurately.
I worked together with another Timer from a different club, which gave me a great opportunity to connect with someone outside my own club. It was a pleasure to cooperate and support each other throughout the contest.
All of the speeches were truly fabulous. I was so impressed that I almost got absorbed in them. However, I reminded myself that our role was to serve as Timers, so I stayed focused and made sure to track the time carefully.
This experience taught me the importance of concentration, teamwork, and connection. I’m really glad I had this opportunity.
