【ルーマニアに行ってきます🇷🇴】

本日6/6(土)〜17(水)、ルーマニアのVia Transilvanicaを訪問してきます。彼らのTrail DaysがルーマニアのPraidで二日間開催される予定で、そこに招待されました。Praidは岩塩鉱で有名な土地でルーマニアの観光名所の一つでもありますが、2025年5月下旬に大雨による洪水で大きな被害を受けました。
Via Transilvanicaは2018年に全線開通したトレイルで、Praidも通ります。トレイルデイズでは、みちのく潮風トレイルが作られた背景、災害からの復興にどのように寄与してこられたのか？地域の人たちは今どのようにトレイルを受け入れてくれているのか？課題は何か？など、被災してしまった地域におけるトレイルの役割や可能性について話し、ディスカッションをしてきます。わずかでも、Praidやトレイル関係の皆様のお力になることができればと願います。
そして今回、私たちの取り組みを、“The Power of Example”の賞にノミネートしていただきました。実際にはルーマニアから学ぶことの方が多いのですが、異なる歴史文化を背景にしたトレイル同士、復興という切り口で共通するからこそ、引き続き様々な情報交換と、相互プロモーションに取り組んでいきたいと考えています。国際交流とプロモーションを目的に、認定NPO法人みちのくトレイルクラブから、相澤、晴山、岡の３人が出かけます。(まるで親子３人旅です)
今回は、ロンドンまでの航空券を日本航空様にご提供いただきました。いつも本当にありがとうございます。

みなさま、３人しばらく日本を離れますが、日本の仲間たちが必要な仕事はバックアップしてくれていますので、いつでもご連絡ください。もはや、飛行機の中でもWi-Fiは繋がり、ルーマニアでも然りです。

トレイルデイズを楽しみ、トレイルを2泊３日で歩き、ルーマニアの日本大使とも会食をし、Via Transilvanicaの仲間たちからまたいろいろ学んできたいと思います。

🇷🇴 Heading to Romania

From June 6–17, three of us from the Michinoku Trail Club will be visiting Romania to attend Via Transilvanica Trail Days in Praid.

Praid, a town famous for its salt mine and one of Romania’s well-known tourist destinations, recently suffered severe flooding. Via Transilvanica, a long-distance trail completed in 2018, passes through this community.

During the event, I will share the story behind the creation of the Michinoku Coastal Trail, how it has contributed to post-disaster recovery in Japan, and what role trails can play in supporting communities affected by disasters. I hope that, even in a small way, our experiences may be helpful to the people of Praid and the Via Transilvanica community.

We are also deeply honored that our work has been nominated for the “The Power of Example” Award. In truth, we often feel that we learn far more from Romania than we could ever teach. Despite our different histories and cultures, our trails share common themes of resilience, community, and recovery. We look forward to continuing to exchange ideas, support one another, and strengthen connections between our trail communities.

For this trip, three representatives from the Michinoku Trail Club—Kumi Aizawa, Isao Hareyama, and Misaki Oka—will be traveling together. (It almost feels like a family trip!)

A heartfelt thank you to Japan Airlines for generously supporting our travel to London.

For the next ten days, the three of us will be away from Japan, but our wonderful colleagues and volunteers back home will keep everything running. Thank you all for your continued support, and we look forward to sharing stories from Romania soon.

【名取の里山を守る第一歩！五社山登山道観察会 参加者募集のご案内】🌲✨

名取市内中心部からもアクセスしやすい、豊かな自然が残る「樽水・五社山一帯」。 この美しい里山を次世代へつなぐためのプロジェクト「五社山里山環境保全推進事業」がいよいよ本格始動します！

本事業は、12月まで計4回にわたって「見る・知る・動く・つなげる」を体験していくシリーズ企画ですが、どの回からの参加も大歓迎です！ 「今回だけ参加してみたい」という方も、どうぞお気軽にお申し込みください。

第1回となる6月は、一緒に登山道を歩きながら楽しく調査する「登山道観察会」を開催します。 「自然観察に興味がある」「ボランティアに関心がある」「登山を始めてみたい」という学生さんや初心者の方も大歓迎！ あなたの発見が、五社山の未来を守る大きな一歩になります。ぜひ一緒に初夏の里山を歩きませんか？

名取市在住または名取市勤務の方が対象となります。
一緒に浜辺の風を感じながら足元の植物に目を向けてみませんか？

閖上海岸を散策しながら、初夏の海浜植物を観察します。この時期ならではのさまざまな海浜植物が観察できます。散策の後、名取トレイルセンターでどの植物を見つけられたかの確認と植物について先生からお話をいただきます。

【大槌町】トレイルルート再開のお知らせ（一部区間迂回）

5月29日午後１時、大槌町より林野火災の鎮火宣言が発表されたことを受け、みちのく潮風トレイル大槌町区間についても通行を再開いたします。一部区間については倒木の危険性があるため迂回路を設定しておりますので、現地の状況および最新の注意情報をご確認のうえ通行してください。

岩手県大槌町のシーニックライン上の筋山園地（未舗装路区間）では、令和８年４月に発生した林野火災の影響により倒木の危険があるため、みちのく潮風トレイル本線が通行できません。

2026年5月6日午後、岩手県大槌町の城山公園付近において、新たに山林火災が発生しました。現在、消防による消火活動が行われています。

大槌町内では、2026年4月22日に発生した大規模な山林火災の鎮火に向けた活動が続いており、一部区間が通行止めとなっています。今回の火災発生箇所は、この通行止め区間内で発生しています。以下の注意情報をご確認ください。

In the afternoon of May 6, 2026, a new forest fire broke out near Shiroyama Park in Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture. Firefighting operations are currently underway.

In Otsuchi Town, efforts are still ongoing to bring the large-scale forest fire that occurred on April 22, 2026 under control, and some sections remain closed. The location of this newly reported fire is within that existing closure area. Please review the following information:

Due to the impact of these fires, trail routes and surrounding walking paths in Otsuchi Town are in a hazardous condition. Hikers are requested to strictly observe the following:

- Refrain from hiking in the Otsuchi section: Entry into areas near the fire sites or locations that may interfere with firefighting operations is prohibited.

【名取トレイルセンターでインターン活動をしてみませんか？】

みちのくトレイルクラブでは、SOMPO環境財団さんが大学生・大学院生を対象に募集している長期（7ヶ月）有償インターンシップ「CSOラーニング制度」の受入れ団体に登録しています。
2024年度には大学生1名を受入れ、名取トレイルセンターで活動していただいた実績があります。

現在、2026年度の応募期間中で、締め切りは5月22日（金）です。

Due to a forest fire that broke out in Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture on the afternoon of April 22, 2026, sections of the Michinoku Coastal Trail are currently CLOSED. There is NO DETOUR available.
