Enjoy the rainy season at a 💠 (Photos from previous years)
Shirotori Garden stuns visitors with around 400 of 40 varieties in early summer during its hydrangea tea ceremony. The venue’s gallery discussions, workshops, a Hosokawa-style demonstration, and various other events are another draw✨ And during the event period, admission is free for visitors coming in —a light summer . Spend a moment of relaxation gazing upon hydrangeas in an elegant atmosphere.

Shirotori Garden Hydrangea Tea Ceremony ( )
• Dates: Sat, Jun 13–Sun, Jun 14, 2026
• Time: 9:00 am–5:00 pm (admission until 4:30 pm)
• Price: JPY 300 for adults / JPY 100 for Nagoya citizens ages 65 and older (Senior Citizens' Handbook, etc. required) / Free for junior high school ages and younger
• Address: 2-5 Atsuta-Nishi-machi, Atsuta-ku, Nagoya-shi, Aichi
• Directions:
　• Approx. 10-min. walk from Exit 4 of Atsuta Jingu Nishi Station on the Meijo Subway Line.

Tokugawaen ’s was created during the Edo period of Japanese history and serves as home to some 2,000 irises with a spotlight on the long-loved Edo variety. From Saturday, May 23 to Sunday, June 7, the Dressed in Japanese Umbrellas: Tokugawaen Iris Festival takes place with impressive and colorful umbrellas accenting the irises. Spend a day walking through the colors of the early season.

Right by the Children’s Zoo at Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens is a with around 230 varieties of which come into peak viewing season during spring and fall. The Los Angeles Beautiful variety and its vivid yet soft coral pink hue or the regal Rosa 'La France' variety with seemingly endless layers of petals are just some of the beautiful blossoms you’ll see here.

While the cherry blossom season has come and gone, Tsuruma Park has another floral phenomenon in peak season🌹 Roses bloom in all different colors around the park for grand and gorgeous views.
And the Rose Festival is currently being held until June 7. Different events take place during the festival period, so come and be enveloped in aromas as you enjoy a walk and snap some sensational shots 📷
