🍂Celebrate the season with the 72nd Nagoya Festival (Past photos)
Nagoya’s signature fall festival, the , began in 1955 and is back again this year✨ The venue offers a stage with performances by a warrior entertainment troupe, food stalls with local Nagoya Meshi cuisine, and booths offering insight into Nagoya’s tradition and culture.
Plus, this year offers a “flower car” exhibit, display of parade floats from the Hometown Heroes Parade, parade floats' musical accompaniment and karakuri mechanized doll performances, kagura Shinto dance performances, and more☺✨ As if this weren’t enough, tourism spots like Nagoya Castle and Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens even offer free admission. So, come out for a special day of an awesome autumn atmosphere!🍁

🏮 Float Festival in a tie-dye town (Past photos)
The historic community of Arimatsu is home to Arimatsu Temman Shrine and its Autumn Festival—popularly known as the “Arimatsu Float Festival”✨ Watch as the three gorgeous Hotei, Karako, and Jingu Kogo Floats parade along the Tokaido Road through Arimatsu, changing direction in a dynamic display with mechanized doll performances taking place atop.
Once night comes, some 200 paper lanterns adorn the three floats in a scene you won’t see in the daytime, so come see it for yourself in a truly awesome autumn spectacle🏮✨

Arimatsu Temmansha Shrine Autumn Festival (Arimatsu Float Festival)
• Venue: Arimatsu and Tokaido Road area
• Date: Sun, Oct 4, 2026
• Times: 9:30 am–3:00 pm / 6:30 pm–9:30 pm

The fall season has returned to Shirotori Garden, and so has the Autumn Dew Festival✨ During the event period, the Appreciative Paradise collaborative event with Nagoya University of the Arts showcases works of art and from September 25 to September 27, you can join the Moon Viewing Tea Ceremony🍵

Enjoy Mino Washi Japanese paper lanterns and bamboo lanterns as they light the way in the nighttime garden for a surreal scene different from the daytime. Enjoy the beauty of fall along with that of art as you stroll around gorgeous Shirotori Garden✨
