Mangrove restoration is critical as coastal communities face stronger typhoons and rising sea levels. Healthy mangrove ecosystems reduce wave energy, stabilize coastlines, and restore nursery habitats for fish and coastal biodiversity.
The project will reconnect people with nature by actively engaging local residents, youth, volunteers, and international supporters in hands-on restoration. Approximately 3,000 person-days of participation are expected every year.
