Nagano Prefecture is sending out the message again about what you need to be aware of under with infection to ensure everyone can live a good life.

1. Ventilate properly: Ventilate indoor areas and cars frequently. Circulate the air for several minutes at least once every half hour.
2. Maintain social distancing: Maintain a distance (of at least 1 meter even with a mask) between yourself and others. Avoid facing others while talking.
3. Wash and sanitize your hands regularly: Wash your hands for 30 seconds using soap and water. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are also effective.
4. Wear masks properly: Wear a mask when talking with people. Wear a mask even when talking on the phone if others are nearby.

If symptoms such as fever develop, please check by yourself with an antigen test kit as much as possible.
- If you test positive, please apply for the Registration Center for Those with Mild Symptoms.
- If you have risks of serious conditions, visit a medical institution.

Happy New Year! We wish you all a healthy new year.
As the new year begins, there will be many opportunities for dinners at New Year's parties and other gatherings. Be sure to wash and disinfect your hands frequently before you eat and after you have returned home. Also, be aware of maintaining proper distance when eating and speaking, and cover your mouth with your hands or a mask to prevent the spread of droplets. If you feel even slightly ill, refrain from attending the dinner.

23/12/2022

As the weather cools, an increase in the spread of influenza and COVID is a concern. The influenza vaccine is effective at quelling the onset of the disease and, to a degree, preventing severe symptoms. It is especially effective for people at high risk of serious illness, such as the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions. If you haven't received a vaccination, consider doing so. Also, consider getting the COVID vaccine.
