本日Coltsは東京都7人制ラグビー大会2次リーグに臨みました。
結果は1勝2敗。惜しくも決勝トーナメント進出は叶わず、その舞台への切符は後輩たちに託すこととなりました。
しかし、この1勝はColts史上初となる東京都7人制ラグビー大会2次リーグでの勝利。決勝トーナメント進出にはあと一歩届かなかったものの、チームの歴史に新たな1ページを刻む大きな勝利となりました。
キャプテンの力強いリーダーシップのもと、毎週末の限られた練習時間を大切に積み重ね、オンラインミーティングで何度も意見を交わしながら準備してきた成果を、選手たちはグラウンドで存分に発揮してくれました。
特に3試合目は、身体のあちこちに痛みを抱え、疲労も限界に達する中、それでも最後の1秒まで諦めることなく全力で戦い抜いた選手たち。その姿を心から誇りに思います。
この大会をもって一部の3年生は引退となり、新たなチームづくりが始まります。
今日まで積み重ねてきた経験、そしてこの悔しさを新チームへしっかりと受け継ぎ、Coltsはこれからも成長を続けていきます。
最後になりましたが、熱戦を繰り広げてくださった対戦チームの皆さま、そして大会運営にご尽力いただいた関係者の皆さまに、心より感謝申し上げます。

Today, Colts competed in the second round of the Tokyo 7s Championship.
We finished with 1 win and 2 losses, falling just short of a place in the knockout stage. While our journey ends here, we proudly pass the baton to the younger players who will carry the team forward.
That one victory, however, was a historic milestone—it was the first-ever win by Colts in the second round of the Tokyo 7s Championship. Although we narrowly missed advancing, the team added a new chapter to the club's history.
Under the strong leadership of our captain, the team made the most of every weekend training session and every online meeting. The players brought to the field everything they had worked so hard to build together.
By the third match, everyone was exhausted and carrying bumps and bruises, but they continued to fight until the very last second. We couldn't be prouder of the determination and heart they showed.
For some of our third-year players, this tournament marks the end of their Colts journey, and a new chapter now begins as we start building the next team.
The experience we gained and the disappointment we feel today will become the foundation for the next generation. Colts will continue to grow, together.
Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of our opponents for the outstanding matches and to everyone involved in organizing this tournament.
