Family & Friends Project We obtained official recognition as a Non-Profit Organization from the Japanese Government October 2013.

With a focus on Education, our goals are to: 1) provide educational Sponsorships to underserved children; 2) support teachers interested in improving their skills and knowledge; and 3) Literacy and Life Skills programs for adults and young children. Apart from our primary goals of providing Educational Scholarships and support for Teacher Development and Literacy/Life Skills programs, we support

anti-human trafficking and women's empowerment organizations through the purchase of locally made handicrafts, provide some support for emergency disaster relief and severe hardship cases if/when needed, and organize cross-cultural exchange experiences in Nepal.

Great chance to meet Santa this coming Saturday Nov. 29 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at Community House Information Center on Rokko Island in Kobe, PLUS buy handmade handicrafts from ladies in Nepal who have been rescued from human rafficking and domestic violence and are making their way, back into to normal society, Plus visit any one of the other interesting craft and food booths at the CHIC Winter Bazaar.
