We obtained official recognition as a Non-Profit Organization from the Japanese Government October 2013.

With a focus on Education, our goals are to: 1) provide educational Sponsorships to underserved children; 2) support teachers interested in improving their skills and knowledge; and 3) Literacy and Life Skills programs for adults and young children. Apart from our primary goals of providing Educational Scholarships and support for Teacher Development and Literacy/Life Skills programs, we support

anti-human trafficking and women's empowerment organizations through the purchase of locally made handicrafts, provide some support for emergency disaster relief and severe hardship cases if/when needed, and organize cross-cultural exchange experiences in Nepal.

Congratulations to ODA Foundation for their organization and participation, and to the teachers, staff, parents, and Municipality enthusiastically working together to improve lives and level the playing field of opportunity for the children and community in Kalikot.
