むかし　中国から　つたわりました。

お月見は、「十五夜（じゅうごや）」というひに
きれいな　月（つき）を　みて　たのしむ　ことです。

2026年の「十五夜（じゅうごや）」は9がつ25にちです。

スーパーで「しらたまこ」をかって、おだんごを　つくるのも　たのしいですよ。

Tsuki-mi, or moon-viewing (also called "Jyu-goya"),
is a practice that was introduced from China.

On Jugoya, people enjoy moon viewing.

This year (2026), tsuki-mi falls on September 25th, and it is thought to be the most beautiful time to view the full moon
You can purchase "shiratama-ko" or "dango-ko" at your local supermarket (and of course on amazon) to make dango balls with your little ones (see our second pic).

鎌倉の公立の学校では明日（9/1）から　学校がはじまります。
長い休みのあとは、「学校に行きたくない」という子どもが　多いです。
そういうときにどうしたらいいか？
鎌倉市教育委員会がnoteにかいてくれました。

本当にそうなったとき、まるまーるもいっしょに考えます。

Public schools in Kamakura will restart tomorrow (Sept 1).
Some children may not feel like going to school and they do not know why, or do not know how to fully explain their feelings.
