子育ては幸せなことですが、とても大変でもあります。
言葉がわからないこと、文化や習慣の違いから、戸惑いも加わりさらに大変になります。
多様な大人も、子どもも、一緒に笑い、泣いて、いきいきと暮らせるように。
そのために、同じく子育て中の私たちだからこそできることはたくさんある。

MarMar is a non-profit organization of moms in action to connect and support families in Japan. Regardless of where we were born or we live, we should be able to live as the way we are
and have respect to others. Japan has a growing number of parents and children with diverse origins. Parenting is a wonderful joy of life, however, it is no way easy and involves lots of struggles. In a different culture or in a different language, the struggles are much, much bigger. For a society where diverse adults and children can laugh, cry, and live together,
we find ourselves - moms! - to be one of the powerful forces. With this in mind and expats experiences of the organizing members,
we are starting with small and grassroots actions.

We organize the playdate event once a month.
Although there will be a family-related theme, there will be plenty of time for free conversation and interaction.
Meet new friends for your and your little one in a comfortable and spacious room at Language House Kamakura (bilingual preschool in Kamakura).

「終業式（しゅうぎょうしき）」って　なに？

もうすぐ 　なつやすみ ですね。

日本の　ようちえんや　　がっこう　には、
「2学期制（がっきせい）」と「3学期制（がっきせい）」があります。

すんでいる場所（ばしょ）によって　ちがいます。
「学期（がっき）」の　さいごの　ひ　には

「終業式（しゅうぎょうしき）」　があります。

「学期」の　さいしょの　ひが　「始業式（しぎょうしき）」です。

終業式、始業式は

ほとんどのばあい、子どもだけが　いきます。

ふくそうは　いつもとおなじ です。

あさ　学校　にいくじかんは　いつもどおりです。

かえりのじかんは　いつもよりはやいです。

学期のさいごには、いえにもってかえる
プリントやにもつが　おおくなったりします。

Final Day (shugyo-shiki) of the semester

In Japan, kindergartens and schools have two semesters or three semesters depending on where you live.

On the final day of each semester, they have "shugyo-shiki", meaning "commencement ceremony". All the students gather together for the ceremony.

In most cases, parents do not participate in the ceremonies, and students go there in ordinary outfit or uniform.

They go to the school under the usual schedule in the morning, but they may come home earlier since there is no class.

Since it is the last day of the semester, students have lots of handouts and luggage to take home.

まるまーるのNPO設立日は七夕です。NPO法人になって、4年になりました。
応援してくれるみなさん、同じ目標をもっていっしょに活動したり、
協力してくれるみなさん。いつも本当にありがとうございます。

個人的な　ねがいごと　と、まるまーるで　かなえたい　ねがいごとを　かきました。

It is "tanabata" today!
Our foundation day as NPO falls on this special day, so we wrote "negai-goto" (wishes) on tanabata paper.
It's been 4 years since the foundation.
On this day, we would like to send our sincere gratitude to people who support us, work with us with the same passion for the more inclusive society.
So it is tanabata - grown-ups deserve to have wishes too, right✨🎋✨

たのしみですね！でも、気をつけたいこともあるので知らせます。
・とても人が多いです。
・車がとおれない等の「交通規制」があります。
・この日は、花火が始まる前も、終わった後も　道や電車がこみます。

こどもと　いっしょに　たのしめますよ🌟

七夕には　すてきな おはなしが　あります💫
むかしむかし、「おりひめ」と「ひこぼし」という　ふたりが　いました。
ふたりは　とても　なかよし でしたが、「あまのがわ」という　おおきな かわで　はなれて　います。
でも、7月7日に　1ねんに1かいだけ　あうことが　できます
こころが　あたたかくなる　おはなしですね💕
