１月１６日（金）に関西国際センターで会話パートナー対面式を行いました。関西国際センターの研修生と定期的に面会し、日本語の会話をする「会話パートナー」の対面式が行われました。どのペアも話が弾み、会場全体が楽しい雰囲気でした。研修生が帰国する５月末まで続きます。

On Friday, January 16th, a Conversation Partner Meet-and-Greet was held at the Kansai International Center. This event marked the start of the “Conversation Partner” program, in which trainees from the Kansai International Center meet regularly with partners to practice Japanese conversation. During the meet-and-greet, every pair quickly became engaged in lively discussion, and the entire venue was filled with a warm and cheerful atmosphere.
The program will continue until the trainees return to their home countries at the end of May.

Na sexta-feira, 16 de janeiro, foi realizado um Encontro Presencial de Parceiros de Conversação no Kansai International Center. Este evento marcou o início do programa “Parceiro de Conversação”, no qual os estagiários do Kansai International Center se reúnem regularmente com parceiros para praticar conversação em japonês. Durante o encontro, todas as duplas rapidamente se envolveram em conversas animadas, e todo o ambiente foi tomado por uma atmosfera acolhedora e alegre.
O programa continuará até que os estagiários retornem aos seus países de origem no final de maio.

１月１５日（木）に南部市民交流センターで泉佐野市の友好連携都市である韓国・大邱市スソン区から「グローバル文化探訪プログラム」に参加する高校生１２名が引率の方４名とともに泉佐野市を訪れ、icaで歓迎会を行いました。icaの会員の他、泉佐野市民の方も参加し、総勢３５名で、日本語や英語、韓国語を交えて交流しました。

On Thursday, January 15, twelve high school students participating in the “Global Cultural Exploration Program” from Suseong District, Daegu, South Korea—Izumisano’s sister city—visited Izumisano City accompanied by four supervisors.
A welcome party was held at ica. In addition to ica members, local residents of Izumisano also took part, bringing the total number of participants to 35. Everyone enjoyed exchanging in Japanese, English, and Korean, deepening mutual understanding and friendship.

Na quinta-feira, 15 de janeiro, doze estudantes do ensino médio que participam do “Programa de Exploração Cultural Global”, do distrito de Suseong, em Daegu, Coreia do Sul — cidade-irmã de Izumisano — visitaram a cidade de Izumisano, acompanhados por quatro supervisores.
Foi realizada uma recepção na ica. Além dos membros da ica, moradores de Izumisano também participaram, totalizando 35 pessoas. Todos interagiram em japonês, inglês e coreano, promovendo a troca cultural e aprofundando a compreensão mútua e os laços de amizade.

１月１０日～３１日毎週（土）に日新小学校で泉佐野市からの依頼事業として、外国にルーツをもつ就学前の児童の日本語指導がスタートしました。応募のあった５名の児童に対して、小学校入学をスムーズに迎えられるよう、スタッフがアイデアを出し合って、プログラムを作成しています。３月末まで１２回に渡って行います。

From January 10th to 31st, classes began every Saturday at Nisshin Elementary School as a project commissioned by Izumisano City. The program provides Japanese language instruction for preschool children with foreign roots. For the five children who applied, staff members are working together and sharing ideas to create a program that will help them smoothly transition into elementary school. The program will be conducted over 12 sessions through the end of March.

De 10 a 31 de janeiro, tiveram início aulas realizadas todos os sábados na Escola Primária Nisshin, como um projeto solicitado pela Prefeitura de Izumisano. O programa oferece aulas de língua japonesa para crianças em idade pré-escolar com raízes estrangeiras. Para as cinco crianças inscritas, os membros da equipe estão colaborando e trocando ideias para elaborar um programa que as ajude a ingressar no ensino fundamental de forma tranquila. O programa será realizado em 12 encontros até o final de março.

１月９日（金）～２８日（水）にicaで新聞ビリビリ選手権を行いました。日本語教室の学習を中心に、新聞を細く裂いて１分間でどれだけ長くできるかを競いました。縦に裂く人、横に裂く人、円状に破る人など、それぞれが工夫をしながら２５名が挑戦しました。また、破り方が大胆だったり、反対に慎重だったり、計測の際に一喜一憂する姿など、学習者の意外な一面を垣間見ることができました。
学習者や指導者同士の交流の一環として、今後も定期的にみんなで楽しめるゲームを取り入れていく予定です。

From Friday, January 9th to Wednesday, January 28th, we held a Newspaper Tearing Championship at ica. As part of our Japanese language classes, participants competed to see how long they could make a strip of newspaper by tearing it as thinly as possible within one minute. 25 learners took on the challenge, each coming up with their own creative approach—some tore the paper vertically, others horizontally, and some even in circular patterns. It was fascinating to see the different strategies they used. We also caught glimpses of unexpected sides of the learners: some tore the paper boldly, while others worked very carefully. During the measuring, there were moments of both joy and disappointment as everyone reacted to the results. As part of fostering exchange among learners and instructors, we plan to continue incorporating fun group activities like this on a regular basis.

De sexta-feira, 9 de janeiro, a quarta-feira, 28 de janeiro, realizamos o Campeonato de Rasgar Jornal na ica. Como parte das aulas de língua japonesa, os participantes competiram para ver quem conseguia fazer a tira de jornal mais longa possível, rasgando-o o mais fino possível durante um minuto. 25 alunos aceitaram o desafio, cada um criando sua própria estratégia — alguns rasgaram o papel na vertical, outros na horizontal e alguns até em formato circular. Foi fascinante observar as diferentes técnicas utilizadas. Também pudemos perceber lados inesperados dos alunos: alguns rasgavam o papel de forma ousada, enquanto outros trabalhavam com bastante cuidado. No momento da medição, houve reações de alegria e decepção conforme todos acompanhavam os resultados. Como parte do fortalecimento da interação entre alunos e instrutores, pretendemos continuar incorporando regularmente atividades em grupo divertidas como esta.

On Saturday, February 28, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., ica will hold a Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival) event at the Kansai International Center.

日本語教室の学習者やicaを訪れた人で、新聞記事からひらがなの「の」を１分間に何個探し出せるか、というゲームをしました。授業の終わりや空き時間を使って、１６人が参加しました。

Learners from the Japanese language class and visitors to ica played a game in which they searched for the hiragana character “の” in a newspaper article to see how many they could find in one minute. A total of 16 people participated, using the end of class and free time to join the activity.

Alunos da aula de japonês e visitantes da ica participaram de um jogo no qual procuravam o caractere hiragana “の” em um artigo de jornal para ver quantas vezes conseguiam encontrá-lo em um minuto. Ao todo, 16 pessoas participaram, aproveitando o final da aula e os intervalos livres para se juntar à atividade.
