The department of Economics especially, is th
e biggest within the National universities in Japan and consists of 6 departments. The educational objective is "Shikon Shousai". "Shikon" represents the soul of the Samurai, and "Shousai" means an excellent entrepreneur. The post graduate school of Economics is a liberal arts school and it is known as the first university to put the risks in their research. You can major from the following 3 subjects including economics, management studies, and global finance in the first half term of your PhD.
