Welcome August! ☀️
August means different things to teachers around the world.
In Japan, schools are enjoying the summer break. It's a chance to rest, recharge and perhaps begin thinking about the new term that starts later this month.
In many other countries, August marks the beginning of a new academic year. Classrooms are being prepared, lesson plans are coming together, and teachers are looking forward to welcoming new students.
Wherever you are, August is a month of fresh starts. It's an opportunity to reflect on what has worked well, explore new ideas and return to the classroom with renewed energy and confidence.
At TEMI, we're looking ahead to September and an exciting new online seminar, Sugar & Spice & Everything Nice, packed with practical ideas for using one of every student's favourite topics, food! Discover creative ways to use food as an icebreaker, conversation starter and language-learning tool that gets students talking naturally.
Keep an eye on our page for more details coming soon!
As always, thank you for being part of the TEMI community. We wish you a restful, inspiring and rewarding August.
