What would a day look like if your office was by the sea? 🌊

Colive Fukuoka members gathered at SALT , a coworking space by the sea, opened their laptops, and worked side by side.

Between focus sessions, some stepped away from their desks: karate workshop and Japanese lessons

Focused work in the morning, a new skill in the afternoon, and people from around the world sharing one table.

Sometimes a change of scenery is all it takes. Working in nature just feels good.

What happens when women entrepreneurs cross cultures?

On Oct 6–7, Global Women Impact and Colive Fukuoka brought SHE SAILS: When East Meets West to Fukuoka

A two-day workshop for women building businesses, and for women curious about self-discovery, leadership, communication and cross-cultural exchange 🤝

Through honest conversations, hands-on exercises and international perspectives, participants explored how culture shapes identity, ambition, leadership, and the way we speak.

Day 1 was about listening to the stories of three women leading across borders.
Day 2 was about writing their own. Small-group sessions, a shared reflection, and one committed next step.

Every participant left with her own path, her strengths, and new connections across cultures.

Asia's travel founders just landed in Fukuoka. 🌏
For the first time, Asia New Travel Bootcamp (ANTB) left Okinawa.
Its next stop: Japan's gateway to Asia.

On Oct 6, travel-tech startups, Kyushu's tourism leaders, and global founders came together in one room.

The conversation: how travelers now choose by experience before destination, how AI is changing the way trips get planned, and how to connect the real, local Japan with the world.

We co-hosted it with WithBlue DMC, right in the middle of Colive Fukuoka 2026.

Next time Fukuoka hosts a moment like this, will you be there?

What are the things we risk forgetting in the age of AI? We spent two days with that question.

A calligraphy hour that brought our focus back.

Conversations that ended in smiles. Reunions after a long time. New people met. Stories shared across the table.

The things we forget in our busy days are probably in here somewhere.
