At the 7th SocialTech Summit 2025, Hiroshima, Japan 🇯🇵

Each winner received 25,000 JPY in award money.

Note:
The poster presentation was open to participants beyond the final 15 video pitch presenters, including 98 graduates who successfully completed all sessions and assignments.

Thank you for joining the 5th 3ZLC Program on Health Innovation Pitch Presentation. As you know, 15 participants have already been selected for the final pitch presentation (video).

Beyond that, we are pleased to offer an additional opportunity: all participants who previously submitted a video are invited to present their work as a poster presentation at the conference in Hiroshima, Japan on October 4, 2025.

If you are planning to attend in person, you may prepare and present a poster by following these guidelines:
- Prepare your poster in A0 size (33.1W × 46.8H inches) and bring a printed copy with you for display and presentation.
- You will present your poster during the conference on October 4, 2025.
- The top 3 poster presentations will receive awards.

How Your Pitch Will Be Evaluated:
1. Problem Identification: Clearly explain the problem you are addressing. Show why it is important in healthcare, use evidence or examples, and make the audience care about it.
2. Visual of the Solution: Present your solution in a clear and engaging way. Use visuals, slides, or demos to show how it works. Make sure it is practical, easy to understand, and directly connected to the problem.
3. Impact, Innovation & Sustainability: Highlight what makes your idea new and impactful. Explain how it can create real change and whether it has business potential, long-term sustainability, and scalability to grow.

3ZLC – 3 Minutes Pitch Presentation on Health Innovation

1. What should be the content about the video? How will it be evaluated?
● Problem identification (10 points)
○ Problem framing, root cause analysis
● Visual of the solution (10 points)
○ Effective conveyance of the proposed solution
● Impact (10 points)
○ Displays innovation in presentation and concept

2. Is there a specification for the video?
○ 3 minutes long. Any video more than 3 minutes long will be disqualified. Please make it in a standard format such as .mp4, .mpeg etc.

3. Where should I submit the video? When is the deadline?

4. Should I need to go to Hiroshima to present my pitch?
○ You can visit Hiroshima or you can pitch online

5. How can I attend the summit in person?
○ Register for the conference. (https://eventregist.com/e/socialtech2025). Upon confirming your registration, we will issue an invitation letter. You can apply for a visa to the nearest Japanese embassy with required documents..

6. How can I create a video? Do you have any recommended tools?
○ You may use any media such as Zoom, PPT, or other apps. Make sure to save it in standard format such as .mp4, .mov, .wmv etc.

7. Should I show my face on the video?
○ Yes it is mandatory to show your face all through the video. You can place your face at any corner of the video window like a news caster.

8. Can I use slides, animation, and images in the video?
○ Yes you can but follow the above instruction.

9. Can I use AI tools?
○ Yes you can but follow the above instruction.

10. Can I use any existing materials like videos, animation or images?
○ Yes you can but follow the above instruction.

11. Who will be issued a certificate?
○ Yes, Students who passed the first screening and submitted the video successfully, will be issued a certificate. The certificate will be sent to your home address by post.

12. How many will be selected for the final pitch? What will be the prize for the winners?
○ Top ten will selected for final pitch on October 4th
○ Three prizes will be announced. 1st prize: ¥100,000; 2nd prize: ¥50,000; 3rd prize: ¥30,000

13. If I go to Hiroshima, will there be any travel support?
○ No. Top 10 will receive a registration waiver. And if you win, you will get the prize money.

14. Can I visit Hiroshima peace park?
○ Yes you can. We will provide free entrance tickets

15. Where can I stay?
○ There are a lot of hotels in Hiroshima city. Thousands of visitors visit Hiroshima every day. Check our FAQ list at our website (conf.socialtech.global).

Participants who scored 50 marks or more out of 70 in the second screening are considered passed and are now eligible to submit the next assignment: 3-Minute Video Pitch on "My Approach to Tackle Community Health Challenges"

This is your opportunity to showcase a bold idea that addresses real-world health issues in your community. Your pitch should highlight:
✅ A clearly identified problem
✅ A visual of your innovative solution
✅ The impact you aim to create

No need to stick to a business pitch format, but if you can touch on aspects like business models, prototypes, or revenue streams, that’s a bonus!
