🔴🔴🔴 DISCOVER KITAKYUSHU 🔴🔴🔴
The Second Largest City in Kyushu, JAPAN !

Kitakyushu is a city where history and cutting-edge technology coexist. Known for its manufacturing excellence and commitment to sustainability, it serves as a model city for the SDGs. Blessed with natural beauty, Kitakyushu offers a diverse range of attractions.

🏯 Kokura Castle: A Historic Landmark
Dating back over 400 years, Kokura Castle is a symbol of Japan’s feudal era. Rebuilt after being lost to fires, it still retains its historic charm. Inside, you'll find interactive exhibits and historical displays. Adjacent to the castle, Kokura Castle Garden offers a tranquil setting where you can enjoy matcha tea in a former lord's residence.

🚢 Mojiko: A Retro Port Town
About 150 years ago, Japan transitioned from feudalism to modernity. During this time, Mojiko thrived as a key international port. Today, its elegant Western-style buildings preserve the era’s charm, offering visitors a nostalgic allure.

🌏 A City of Industry and Sustainability
Kitakyushu played a crucial role in Japan’s industrial revolution and was home to the country’s first government-run steelworks, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. However, rapid industrialization once led to severe pollution. Having overcome these environmental challenges, the city stands as a global Eco-Model City. Visit Eco-Town to see advanced recycling and sustainability initiatives in action.

🚽 TOTO Museum: Innovation in Sanitation
For a unique insight into Japan’s toilet culture and cutting-edge technology, visit the TOTO Museum. Explore how Japan has transformed sanitation with eco-friendly, water-saving innovations that will leave you impressed.

✨At the WFTGA Convention 2026, Kitakyushu will be part of the Study Tour. Whether you are drawn to history, industry, sustainability, or culture, this city has much to offer.✨
Come and explore it for yourself❗️
