🎶 THE PLANET OF ART – 2025: Launch of the Music Cycle ! 🎶

Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs is excited to announce the launch of the music cycle of the International Youth Festival ! ✨

The Festival is held under Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in World Federation of Clubs and Associations for UNESCO and in support of the UN “Pact for the Future”.

🔹 Who can participate?
Young talents aged 12 to 18 from UNESCO member states, where Associations and Clubs for UNESCO exists.

🗓 Applications are open until May 11, 2025! Selection will take place in two stages: an online round and offline auditions for participants from Kazakhstan.

🎼 This year, reviving the tradition of performing with a live symphony orchestra!

On February 19-20, 2025, the First Global Youth Forum of Associations and Clubs for UNESCO (GYF) took place in Almaty, gathering over 150 participants from about 60 countries around the world.

The Forum was organized by UNESCO and the World Federation of Clubs and Associations for UNESCO (WFUCA) with the support of the Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO, the National Commissions for UNESCO of Kazakhstan and France, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Akimat of Almaty.

Over two days, delegates from Associations and Clubs for UNESCO from all regions of the world, as well as representatives from government, academic and business circles, including UNESCO experts, discussed important issues such as strengthening capacity, empowering youth, ethics of artificial intelligence use, digital technology, sustainable tourism, climate change, inclusion and arts in education.

As part of the event, a visit to Kazakhstan was made by several high-profile guests, including UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Ms. X. Abbing, leading global AI expert Dr. W. Holmes, members of the Executive Board of the World Federation of Clubs and Associations for UNESCO and others.

This event would not have been possible without the support of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V., CenterCredit Bank, Kazakhstan Hotel, Doscar Group of Companies and Shymbulak Mountain Resort.

On November 12, 2024, with the support of , the grand opening of the exhibition of artworks of the winners of the International Youth Festival THE PLANET OF ART - 2024 took place at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris (France).

Within the framework of the event, 40 best paintings and an album on the theme of UNESCO World Heritage which includes 500 finalists’ artworks were presented. The bright atmosphere was complemented by performances by the ensemble and the dance group.

The exhibition brought together young artists from 34 countries who expressed their vision of cultural heritage. The guests, including representatives of the member countries and the management of , cultural and artistic figures, highly appreciated the talent of the project participants.

On October 26, 2024 an exhibition of works of the finalists and winners, along with the awarding ceremony of laureates of the International Youth Festival THE PLANET OF ART – 2024, organized by the Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO was held in the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2024, the art cycle of the International Youth Festival THE PLANET OF ART - 2024 is dedicated to the study and dissemination of knowledge about UNESCO World Heritage sites, and is held within the framework of the 15th anniversary of Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO and Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations. Children and youth aged 3 to 18 years from all over the world were invited for participation by choosing one or several World Heritage sites for their creative artworks.

The project is entirely social in nature, supporting gifted young artists in realizing their creative potential, thanks to the support of the project’s general partner, Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), co-partner CNPC and official partners Tengizchevroil and TotalEnergies E&P Kazakhstan. Due to the project’s scale and broad international reach, all children, regardless of social status, including those from remote areas, received equal opportunities to showcase their talents and work with leading artists in Kazakhstan, completely free of charge.

The trip offered participants the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Trans-Ili Alatau.

Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs pleased to announce the launch of the art cycle of the International Youth Festival THE PLANET OF ART – 2024 on the theme “UNESCO World Heritage”

This year Festival is dedicated to the 15th anniversary of and is held within the framework of Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in the World Federation of Clubs and Associations for UNESCO.

If you are between 3 and 18 years old and interested in painting, sculpture, decorative arts and photography, we invite you to take part in and share your vision of beauty and the importance of preserving cultural heritage!

Artificial intelligence (AI) opens up wide prospects for the field of education to solve key tasks. However, the rapid development of technology entails various problems and risks.

Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs announces the launch of the Third International UNESCO Model on the topic “Ethics of the use of Artificial Intelligence in Education.”

Youth aged 16 to 25 are invited to participate.
