We are excited to announce that our 23rd Annual Meeting will be held on October 4–6, 2026, at Kyoto International Conference Center in Kyoto, Japan. This year's meeting will be held under the overarching theme: "Navigating Tectonic Shifts in Science, Technology, and Society".

We are delighted to share that the 9th STOA‑STS forum Conference, held on June 3, was a great success.
We sincerely thank STOA and JETRO for co-organizing the event, as well as all the distinguished participants who contributed to the discussions.

On May 18, 2026, IBM and the North American Associates of the STS forum co-hosted the 2026 High-Level Workshop, “Science in Society: A Crisis of Trust, Confronting Misinformation and Disinformation in the Digital Age,” at IBM One Madison in New York.

The workshop brought together distinguished leaders from academia, business, not-for-profit organizations, public sector institutions, and the STS forum to discuss how science and technology communities can help rebuild public trust in an era of rapidly expanding digital information and AI-generated content.

We are pleased to share the successful conclusion of the STS forum Japan–Thailand Symposium held on April 24–25, 2026.

The symposium brought together leaders mainly from academia, industry, and government in Japan and Thailand to discuss science, technology, innovation, and international collaboration.

We sincerely thank Professor Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Dr. Wiparat De-ong, Executive Director of the National Research Council of Thailand, as well as all speakers, participants, and partners for their valuable contributions.

The STS forum Latin America 2025, held on December 4 in the State of Morelos, Mexico, concluded with great success.

Our sincere appreciation goes to H.E. Marcelo Luis EBRARD CASAUBÓN, Minister of Economy of Mexico, and Madam Margarita González Saravia, Governor of Morelos, for their outstanding leadership and generous support as hosts of this event.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the Secretaría de Economía, SECIHTI (Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation), the Government of Morelos, Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Embassy of Japan in Mexico, and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) for their invaluable partnership in making this conference possible.

Thank you to all participants for contributing to such an inspiring and dynamic gathering. We look forward to continuing the dialogue across Latin America and beyond.
