3月19日（日）、私たちは自分たちが暮らす街の清掃を行いました。大分ネパール友好協会が主催した清掃活動は、プリティヴィ・ラジ・サプコタさん（LALE）がリーダーとなり、他のAPU学生や一部の別府市民が参加しました。このプログラムの主な目的は、別府の未来をより明るく、よりきれいにすることです。別府市役所や協賛の日本たばこ産業株式会社の協力もあり、大分ネパール友好協会のプログラムの一つとして成功させることができました。
学生たちは、北浜から別府公園まで、この美しい街を汚している大量のゴミを組織的に掃除して回りました。
今月から、毎月第3日曜日に清掃活動を行う予定です。
このようなプログラムを通じて、街の結束が強まることは間違いありません。これからも、より多くの方にこの活動に参加して頂けることを楽しみにしています。
On March 19th, Sunday, we had a great experience cleaning the city where we live. The Oita Nepal Friendship Association organized a clean-up campaign, which was led by Prithivi Raj Sapkota (LALE) and was followed by other APU students and some Beppu citizens. The main objective of this program was to make Beppu's future brighter and cleaner. With the support of Beppu city hall, and Japan Tobaccos (sponsor), we were able to make it one of the successful programs of the Oita Nepal Friendship Association.
The students went around the streets of Kitahama to Beppu park in an organized manner cleaning up the vast amount of trash dumped staining our beautiful city.
Starting from this month, we will be doing the cleaning up program every month on the third Sunday of the month.
We are sure that the city's unity will strengthen through these types of programs. Moving ahead we look forward to seeing more people join us in the campaign.
