🌍 Save the Earth. Save Yourselves.
🌱Think Green. Go Green.
Let’s reduce, reuse, and refuse use plastics. Let’s clean our surroundings, protect our nature, and inspire others by our actions. Let’s take care of the environment that surrounds us and leave a healthier and greener planet for our kids. Every little effort counts, carry your own bag and bottle. Teach our kids the importance of sustainable living. Let’s protect the Earth today, so we can enjoy it tomorrow. Let’s do our small but in whatever way we can.
Happy World Environment Day💚

According to Japanese history Emperor Jimmu was the first emperor of Japan. People believe he was a grandson of the sun goddess, Amaterasu. It is said that he founded Japan in 660 BC. His stories are written in two old books called Nihon Shoki and Kojiki, where he is described as a brave warrior and a great leader.

Jimmu’s story started on Kyushu [old name] Island. He took his army and went on a journey to bring all parts of Japan together. On his way, he fought many enemies. Legend says that the gods sent a special three-legged crow named 'Yatagarasu' to show him the way. With the help of the gods and his own courage, he won the 'Yamato' region and made his capital city in Kashihara.

Even today, Japan celebrates February 11 as 'National Foundation Day'. The holiday has been celebrated since 1967. This is the day Jimmu became the emperor. Although historians are still studying if he was a real person, the Japanese people respect him as a great ancestor and a symbol of unity. Because of him, Japan’s royal family is known as the oldest in the world that is still running today.

Children's Day (こどもの日) is celebrated on May 5th every year in Japan. It is a national holiday dedicated to celebrating the happiness, growth, and health of children.

Koinobori (鯉のぼり), meaning 'carp streamer' in Japanese, are traditional carp-shaped windsocks hung outside homes to celebrate children and wish for their health, strength, and success. The carp is used because it represents perseverance and determination, as it is known for swimming strongly upstream.

✨Koinobori are typically displayed in a specific order, from top to bottom:

🎏Fukinagashi (The Streamer): A five-colored windsock designed to keep bad luck away.

🎏Magoi (Black Carp): Symbolizes the Father.

🎏Higoi (Red/Pink Carp): Symbolizes the Mother.

🎏Children's Carp: Smaller fish in blue, green, or purple. Today, the number of fish is usually based on the number of children in the household.
