【若手・学生のためのAESジャパンフォーラム2026 特別企画】
本年度の「若手・学生のためのAESジャパンフォーラム」では特別企画として，AESフェローの濱﨑公男氏をお迎えした基調講演を行います。
特別企画「基調講演：録音・制作と再生 — 音響コンテンツの制作環境と視聴環境 —」

講演概要：
イマーシブオーディオなどの新たな技術の導入に伴う音響コンテンツ録音・制作の多様化、そして民生用ヘッドフォンやイヤホンの高音質化と普及を背景に、コンテンツを録音・制作する音響制作環境と、視聴者がそれを楽しむ音響再生環境は、もはや同一のものではなくなりつつあります。
本講演では、まず音響録音・制作手法と民生用音響機器の歴史的変遷、およびその両者の関係を改めて振り返ります。そのうえで、これからオーディオ分野におけるコンテンツ制作や研究開発に携わろうとしている学生・若手の皆さんに向けて、録音・制作と再生の現状と課題を整理し、今後取り組んでいただきたいテーマとそのためのヒントを述べます。
講師：濱﨑公男（合同会社アーツリッジ代表社員）
AESフェロー、音楽録音エンジニア、音響研究者ならびに教育者、オーディオ技術コンサルタント。国際的に著名なオーケストラやオペラ団体による数多くの演奏をステレオならびにイマーシブサウンドで録音制作。デジタルオーディオ機器、Hamasaki SquareおよびHamasaki Cubeなどのマイクロホン技術、22.2マルチチャンネル音響システムや高品質ライブ音場再現などの空間音響技術の研究開発に従事。近年は、イマーシブサウンド録音技術や自然な音再生のための聴覚モデルの研究を行っており、オーディオ技術に関する国際標準化にも貢献している。現在、AES Technical Committee on Broadcast & Online Delivery共同議長、AES Technical Committee on Audio Production副議長、合同会社アーツリッジで代表社員、株式会社final で技術主幹を務める。

【AES Japan Forum for Beginners and Students 2026: Special Event】
We have announced details of a special event for the AES Japan Forum for Beginners and Students 2026, to be held on November 21, 2026, at the Tokyo University of the Arts. AES Fellow Mr. Kimio Hamasaki will deliver a keynote address titled “Recording, Production, and Reproduction: The Evolving Gap Between Production and Listening Environments.”

Abstract:
The introduction of new technologies, such as immersive audio, has led to greater diversification in sound recording and production practices. At the same time, consumer headphones and earphones have advanced significantly in sound quality and become increasingly widespread. Against this background, the acoustic production environment in which content is recorded and produced is no longer the same as the acoustic reproduction environment in which the audience enjoys it.
This lecture first revisits the historical evolution of sound recording and production techniques alongside that of consumer audio equipment, and examines the relationship between the two. Building on this perspective, the talk is addressed particularly to students and young professionals aspiring to work in content production or research and development in the audio field. It will outline the current state of recording, production, and reproduction, identify key challenges, and offer thoughts and suggestions on the questions the next generation is invited to explore.
Speaker: Kimio Hamasaki (ARTSRIDGE LLC)
Kimio Hamasaki, an AES Fellow, is a producer and balance engineer for music recordings, a researcher in spatial audio, an educator in audio engineering and acoustics, and a consultant in audio engineering. He has recorded and produced numerous orchestral and operatic works with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bavarian State Opera, the NHK Symphony Orchestra, and other renowned international orchestras and opera companies in 2.0, 5.1, 9.1, 11.1, and 22.2 multichannel sound formats. He has developed digital audio recording equipment and innovative microphone techniques for natural immersive sound, such as the Hamasaki Square and Hamasaki Cube, as well as advanced spatial audio systems, including the 22.2 multichannel sound system. His recent research interests include immersive audio systems and sound recording techniques, as well as auditory models for natural sound reproduction through headphones, earphones, and loudspeakers, with the aim of developing next-generation audio recording and playback systems. He has extensive experience in international standardization related to audio technology, including work with the AES, SMPTE, and IEC. He currently serves as co-chair of the AES Technical Committee on Broadcasting and Online Delivery, vice-chair of the AES Technical Committee on Audio Production, and president of ARTSRIDGE LLC.
