Al Hassan Workers' Center

Al Hassan Workers' Center The Al Hassan Workers' Center offers recreational opportunities, skills training, and other supports to factory workers in Northern Jordan.

There are an estimated 40,000 workers in Jordan’s garment industry. Roughly 80% of these workers are foreign, traveling to Jordan from primarily South Asian countries. Migrant workers often face communication barriers that leave them vulnerable to exploitation. Many experience deep emotional stress as they struggle to adjust to a new environment away from their families. Established in 2012, the W

orkers’ Center Association is a charitable membership organization dedicated to improving quality of life and providing services for workers in Jordan’s garment industry. The association governs the Al-Hassan Workers’ Center, located in Al-Hassan Industrial Zone near Irbid/Ramtha. The first of its kind in Jordan, the Al-Hassan Workers’ Center is committed to:

1) Developing and providing training courses and seminars for workers to improve their job and life skills
2) Providing a social forum and organizing entertainment activities
3) Improving worker well-being by providing general awareness on issues such as humanitarian, health, psychological, and practical; and
4) Offering accessible services and basic commodities at affordable costs for workers.

🎥💻 Learning That Makes a Difference
The Computer Training Course at the Workers Center was more than just learning how to use a computer—it was an opportunity for workers to build confidence, develop practical skills, and open new doors for their future.
In this video, participants share how the course helped them improve their digital knowledge and why these skills are important in both their work and daily lives.
We are proud of their achievements and look forward to supporting more workers through learning and development opportunities.

🎥✨ Workers Share Their Experience
The best way to measure the success of a program is to hear directly from those who participated in it.
After completing the Computer Training Course, workers shared their feedback about the training, the skills they gained, and their experience at the Workers Center.
Their positive feedback motivates us to continue providing educational, recreational, and supportive services that contribute to workers’ well-being and personal development.
Thank you to all participants for being part of this journey.
