🗳️ As part of ongoing efforts to promote political participation and strengthen community engagement, the Arab WOrld Center For Democratic Development ( UNIHRD ), in partnership with وزارة الشؤون السياسية و البرلمانية moppa and in cooperation with the Hanns Seidel Foundation – Amman Office, continue their nationwide workshop series aimed at encouraging active engagement in local administration elections 🗳️ and expanding civic participation across communities in Jordan. 🇯🇴

This week’s workshop was held in and focused on the draft local administration law and Aqaba’s administrative uniqueness, with the active participation of persons with visual impairments.
The session also highlighted the importance of youth and women’s engagement in political life and local decision-making. 🤝

Arab WOrld Center For Democratic Development ( UNIHRD ) in cooperation with the Hanns Seidel Foundation – Amman Office, organized a workshop on Gender Equality and Human Rights.

The workshop highlighted the importance of integrating gender equality and human rights principles into workplace environments, institutional policies, and procedures to strengthen justice, equal opportunities, and institutional effectiveness within the public sector.

The sessions also addressed key challenges and mechanisms related to the implementation of these principles at both the local and international levels.
