As part of ongoing efforts to promote political participation and strengthen community engagement, Arab WOrld Center For Democratic Development ( UNIHRD ), in partnership with the وزارة الشؤون السياسية و البرلمانية moppa and in cooperation with the Hanns Seidel Foundation – Amman Office, organized a workshop in the Northern Badia on “Participation in Local Administration Elections.” 🗳️

The workshop brought together participants from the local community to discuss the importance of participation in local elections, recent legislative developments, and proposed amendments related to the upcoming electoral process. The session also provided a platform for dialogue and exchange of perspectives on enhancing civic engagement and local governance. 🇯🇴

As part of ongoing efforts to promote good governance and strengthen institutional best practices, Arab WOrld Center For Democratic Development ( UNIHRD ), in partnership with the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS), organized a workshop titled “Governance Performance & Service Delivery.” 🏛️

The workshop brought together representatives from ministries, civil society organizations, and academic institutions, creating a space for dialogue and knowledge exchange. The session highlighted key principles of good governance, including transparency, integrity, and accountability ⚖️, and explored their role in improving government performance and service delivery.

Discussions also focused on public sector modernization, partnerships, and performance measurement, while emphasizing the importance of governance in advancing sustainable development and enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens.

In light of the approaching Municipal Elections 🇯🇴, the Arab WOrld Center For Democratic Development ( UNIHRD ) organized a workshop on Participation in Local Administration Elections, in partnership with وزارة الشؤون السياسية و البرلمانية moppa & in cooperation with Hanns Seidel Stiftung - Amman Office: Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, in Tafilah on March 26, 2026.

The workshop highlighted the importance of citizen participation in local elections and strengthening decentralized decision-making, while engaging youth and local stakeholders in understanding governance structures and their role in shaping development priorities at the community level 🗳️🌍

Last week, a workshop on Crisis Management and Corporate Governance was held in Irbid on March 24, 2026, organized by Arab WOrld Center For Democratic Development ( UNIHRD ) in cooperation with Hanns Seidel Stiftung - Amman Office: Jordan, Syria, Lebanon

The workshop brought together participants from ministries, government institutions, civil society, and universities to strengthen concepts of good governance, transparency, and accountability in public administration, within the ongoing series of activities across Jordan 🇯🇴 supporting administrative reform and resilience in the face of global challenges.

Experts highlighted the importance of effective crisis management, coordination, timely decision-making, and strategic planning to minimize risks and enhance institutional performance.
