نظّمت جمعية يد العون نشاطًا واحتفالية مميزة بمشاركة متطوعيها، وذلك بمناسبة Global Volunteer Month، في أجواء مليئة بالحماس وروح العطاء.

وتضمّن الحفل مجموعة من الندوات وورش العمل التفاعلية التي ركزت على التعريف بالعمل التطوعي وأهميته في بناء المجتمعات وتعزيز روح التكافل بين أفرادها، إضافة إلى تسليط الضوء على دور المتطوعين في إحداث أثر إيجابي ومستدام.

وأُقيمت الفعالية تحت رعاية السيد Yasser Al-Khouli، المدير الإقليمي لمكتب منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، الذي أكد في كلمته على أهمية تمكين الشباب وتعزيز مشاركتهم في العمل التطوعي كركيزة أساسية للتنمية المجتمعية.

وتأتي هذه الفعالية في إطار جهود جمعية يد العون المستمرة لدعم وتعزيز ثقافة العمل التطوعي، وتمكين المتطوعين وتطوير مهاراتهم ليكونوا عناصر فاعلة في خدمة مجتمعاتهم.

HHRD organized a special event and celebration with its volunteers in recognition of Global Volunteer Month, in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and a strong spirit of giving.

The event included a series of seminars and interactive workshops that focused on raising awareness about volunteering and its importance in building strong communities and promoting social solidarity. It also highlighted the vital role volunteers play in creating a positive and sustainable impact.

The event was held under the patronage of Yasser Al-Khouly, Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, who emphasized in his speech the importance of empowering youth and encouraging their active participation in volunteer work as a key pillar of community development.

This event reflects HHRD’s ongoing efforts to promote the culture of volunteering, empower volunteers, and enhance their skills to become active contributors to their communities.

In a scene that reflects the harsh reality, dozens of residents from Asia Camp and The Central Camp gather around water tanks after going without water for two full days.
Thirst does not wait… children, women, and the elderly push forward, hoping to secure just a few liters of water—something that has become a matter of survival.

This crowd is not chaos—it is a cry of need… a powerful expression of daily suffering in the face of limited resources and restricted access to basic necessities.

Water is not a luxury—it is a fundamental human right.

في مشهد يعكس قسوة الواقع، يتجمع العشرات من أهالي مخيمي اسيا و العاصمة حول صهاريج المياه، بعد انقطاعها عنهم لمدة يومين كاملين.
العطش لا ينتظر… والأطفال، النساء، وكبار السن يتدافعون في محاولة للحصول على بضعة لترات من الماء، الذي أصبح بالنسبة لهم مسألة حياة أو موت.

هذا الازدحام ليس فوضى، بل صرخة حاجة… صرخة إنسانية تُجسد معاناة يومية يعيشها السكان في ظل شح الموارد وصعوبة الوصول إلى أبسط مقومات الحياة.

الماء ليس رفاهية… بل حق أساسي لكل إنسان.
