تم اليوم توقيع اتفاقية تعاون ما بين بلدية عين الباشا الجديدة و مؤسسة رواد المستقبل لتمكين افراد المجتمعات ضمن اطار مشروع “نماذج الحوكمة الشاملة من أجل انتقال أكثر خضرة في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط – Gov4GreenMed” والمموّل من برنامج الاتحاد الأوروبي للتعاون عبر الحدود Interreg NEXT MED.
ويُعد هذا المشروع أحد أبرز البرامج الإقليمية التي تُعنى بتعزيز التعاون وتبادل الخبرات والمعرفة التقنية بين دول حوض البحر الأبيض المتوسط، وسيتم تنفيذه في كل من: الأردن، تونس، تركيا، إسبانيا، وإيطاليا
و يركز المشروع بشكل خاص على تحسين خدمة ادارة النفايات الصلبة على مستوى البلدية و المجتمعات المستفيدة
و اعرب الباشا خالد الطراونة عن ترحيبه بفكرة المشروع لما لها من فائدة على المدى القريب و البعيد على سكان بلدية عين الباشا حيث سيتضمن المشروع العديد من النشاطات اللتي سيتم تنفيذها بشكل تشاركي ما بين البلدية و المجتمع و والقطاع الخاص
و ياتي هذا المشروع كنتيجة فعلية لخبرة مؤسسة رواد المستقبل في دعم البلديات و تحسين خدماتها على المستوى الوطني و الاقليمي حيث عملت مع العديد من البلديات و قامت بتنفيذ و ادارة العديد من محطات الفرز و السماد العضوي و بناء قدرات الكوادر بشكل مؤسسي و غيرها من المشاريع ذات الصلة
و سيكون هذا المشروع بداية قوية لتشبيك بلدية عين الباشا مع المشاريع و المبادرات الاخرى المشابهة و الاستفادة من التجارب و الدروس المستفادة
A cooperation agreement was signed today Feb 8th , 2026 between the New Ein Al-Basha Municipality and Future Pioneers for Empowering Communities within the framework of the “Inclusive Governance Models for a Greener Transition in the Mediterranean Region – Gov4GreenMed” , a project co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg NEXT MED Programme.
This project is one of the most prominent regional programs aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise and technical knowledge among Mediterranean countries in sustainable waste management.
Gov4GreenMed has 6 partners and 5 countries involved which are the BETA Technological Centre (UVic-UCC) and Medcities in Spain, Cooperation for the Development of Emergency Countries (COSPE) in Italy, Centre International des Technologies et de l’Environment des Tunis (CITET) in Tunis, Future Pioneers for Empowering Communities’ Members (FPEC) in Jordan, and Antalya Metropolitan Municipality (AMM) in Türkiye. The project focuses specifically on improving solid waste management services at the municipal level while engaging and mobilizing the surrounding communities and relevant stakeholders in a participatory approach.
His Excellency; The Mayor Khaled Al-Tarawneh expressed his support for the project, recognizing its short- and long-term benefits for the residents of Ein Al-Basha Municipality. The project will include numerous activities implemented collaboratively between the municipality, the community, and the private sector.
This project is a direct result of Future Pioneers relevant experience in supporting municipalities and improving their services at the national and regional levels. The organization has worked with many municipalities, implementing and managing several sorting and composting stations, building institutional capacity for their staff, and undertaking other related projects. This project will serve as a strong foundation for Ein Al-Basha Municipality to connect with other similar projects and initiatives, benefiting from shared experiences and lessons learned.
