بأشدّ عبارات الإدانة والاستنكار، وبقلوبٍ يعتصرها الألم، تُدين جمعية الكشافة والمرشدات الأردنية، ونيابة عن كافة منتسبيها من قادةٍ وكشافةٍ ومرشداتٍ ورواد، الاعتداء الإرهابي الآثم الذي استهدف كنيسة قرية حمود في محافظة الكرك، وأسفر عن ارتقاء شهداء وإصابة مواطنين أبرياء. إن هذه الجريمة النكراء تمثّل عدواناً صارخاً على حرمة النفس البشرية، وقدسية دور العبادة، وقيم الدين والإنسانية، ونسيج المحبة والتآخي الذي يجمع أبناء الوطن الواحد.
إن هذا العمل الإجرامي، الذي طال مواطنين آمنين أثناء تشييع جنازة، يكشف عن فكرٍ ظلاميٍ متطرف لا يعرف حرمةً للإنسان، ولا يقيم وزناً لقدسية الحياة، ولا يمتّ بصلة لتعاليم الأديان وقيمها السامية. إن استهداف الأبرياء في لحظات الوداع ليس عدواناً على الضحايا وذويهم فحسب، بل هو اعتداء على قيمنا الوطنية، ومحاولة يائسة للنيل من أمن الأردن واستقراره ووحدته.
إننا نؤكد أن دماء الأردنيين وكرامتهم خطٌ أحمر لا يقبل المساومة، وأن دور العبادة ستظل مآذن وكنائس للطمأنينة والسلام، لا ساحاتٍ للعنف والإرهاب. كما نؤكد أن الأردن، الذي ضرب عبر العقود أروع الأمثلة في الأخوة والعيش المشترك، سيظل عصياً على كل محاولات الفتنة والفرقة؛ فوحدة الأردنيين ليست شعاراً، بل حقيقة راسخة تتجلى في مواقفهم وتضحياتهم وصفهم الواحد في مواجهة كل ما يهدد وطنهم.
تتقدم جمعية الكشافة والمرشدات الأردنية بخالص العزاء والمواساة لأسر الشهداء وذويهم ولأبناء المجتمع الأردني كافة، سائلين المولى عز وجل أن يتغمد الشهداء بواسع رحمته، وأن يمنّ على المصابين بالشفاء العاجل، وأن يحفظ الأردن وأهله من كل مكروه.
وإذ تجدد الجمعية اعتزازها بوحدتنا الوطنية، فإنها تؤكد التفافها حول القيادة الهاشمية الحكيمة، بقيادة حضرة صاحب الجلالة الملك عبد الله الثاني ابن الحسين، وسمو ولي عهده الأمين الأمير الحسين بن عبد الله الثاني، مثمّنةً عالياً جهود القوات المسلحة والأجهزة الأمنية في حماية الوطن ، والحفاظ على أمنه واستقراره، مع التأكيد على ضرورة إنفاذ القانون ومحاسبة المتورطين في هذا الاعتداء وفق أحكامه.
وانطلاقاً من رسالتها التربوية والوطنية، تؤكد الجمعية أن الحركة الكشفية والإرشادية ستظل منبراً لترسيخ قيم التسامح والتآخي والانتماء والمواطنة الصالحة، وغرس ثقافة الحوار واحترام الآخر في نفوس الأجيال، والإسهام في حماية النسيج الوطني من خطاب الكراهية والتطرف؛ إيماناً منها بأن قوة الأردن الحقيقية تكمن في تماسك أبنائه، وصدق انتمائهم، ووحدتهم في مواجهة أي تهديد.
سيظل الأردن وطناً واحداً عصيّاً على الإرهاب، منيعاً بوحدة أبنائه، ثابتاً على قيمه، لا تفرّقه جريمة، ولا تنال من تماسكه محاولات الفتنة. فالأردنيون -مسلمين ومسيحيين- إخوة في الوطن، شركاء في المصير، يجمعهم تاريخٌ واحد، وتحميهم إرادةٌ وطنيةٌ صلبة، ومستقبلٌ يصنعونه معاً.
حفظ الله الأردن وشعبه وقيادته الهاشمية، وأدام عليه نعمة الأمن والأمان، وحمى وحدته الوطنية، وتغمد الشهداء بواسع رحمته، وألهم ذويهم الصبر والسلوان.

Statement of Condemnation and Denunciation
The Jordanian Scouts and Guides Association
In the strongest possible terms of condemnation and denunciation, and with hearts heavy with sorrow, the Jordanian Scouts and Guides Association, on behalf of all its members, including leaders, Scouts, Guides, and Rovers, unequivocally condemns the heinous terrorist attack that targeted the church in the village of Hamoud, in Karak Governorate, claiming the lives of innocent people and leaving others injured.
This despicable crime constitutes a flagrant assault on the sanctity of human life, the sacredness of places of worship, the values of religion and humanity, and the bonds of love and fraternity that unite the people of one nation.
This criminal act, which targeted peaceful citizens as they gathered for a funeral procession, exposes an extremist and dark ideology that recognizes neither the dignity of human beings nor the sanctity of life, and that stands in stark contradiction to the teachings of religions and their noble values. Targeting innocent people in moments of farewell is not merely an assault on the victims and their families; it is also an attack on our national values and a desperate attempt to undermine Jordan’s security, stability, and unity.
We affirm that the lives and dignity of Jordanians are inviolable red lines over which there can be no compromise. Places of worship shall remain sanctuaries of reassurance and peace—mosques and churches alike—not arenas for violence and terrorism. We further affirm that Jordan, which has set outstanding examples of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence throughout the decades, will remain steadfast in the face of all attempts to sow discord and division. The unity of Jordanians is not merely a slogan; it is a deeply rooted reality, reflected in their actions, their sacrifices, and their united stand against every threat to their homeland.
The Jordanian Scouts and Guides Association extends its heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives, their loved ones, and the entire Jordanian community. We pray that Almighty God envelops the deceased in His boundless mercy, grants the injured a speedy recovery, and protects Jordan and its people from all harm.
As the Association renews its profound pride in Jordan’s national unity, it reaffirms its unwavering allegiance to the wise Hashemite leadership under His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II. The Association also expresses its deep appreciation for the efforts of the Jordanian Armed Forces and security agencies in safeguarding the homeland and preserving its security and stability. At the same time, it stresses the importance of enforcing the law and holding all those involved in this attack accountable in accordance with its provisions.
In keeping with its educational and national mission, the Association affirms that the Scout and Guide Movement will continue to serve as a platform for instilling the values of tolerance, brotherhood, belonging, and responsible citizenship; nurturing a culture of dialogue and respect for others among future generations; and helping protect Jordan’s social fabric from hate speech and extremism. This commitment stems from the Association’s firm belief that Jordan’s true strength lies in the cohesion of its people, the sincerity of their allegiance to their homeland, and their unity in confronting every threat.
Jordan shall remain one united homeland, impervious to terrorism, strengthened by the unity of its people, and steadfast in its values. No crime shall divide it, and no attempt to sow discord shall weaken its cohesion. Jordanians—Muslims and Christians alike—are brothers and sisters in their homeland and partners in their shared destiny. They are bound by a common history, sustained by an unwavering national will, and united in building a future they will shape together.
May God protect Jordan, its people, and its Hashemite leadership; perpetuate the blessings of security and peace upon the nation; safeguard its national unity; envelop those who lost their lives in His infinite mercy; and grant their families patience, strength, and solace.
