The Rotary Club of Amman Ammon proudly launched the 2026–2027 Rotary year during its Handover Meeting held on July 27, in the presence of club members and Assistant Governor Amjad Barqawi.

A highlight of the meeting was the official presidential handover, as leadership transitioned from Past President Suzan Barbour to President Lubna Fakhoury. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to PP Suzy for her outstanding dedication, commitment, and leadership throughout the past Rotary year, and we wish President Lubna every success in leading the club through an inspiring and impactful year of service.

✨ A New Chapter for Rotary Club of Amman Ammon! ✨

At the Country Handover Ceremony, we proudly celebrated the transition of leadership at the Rotary Club of Amman Ammon.

A heartfelt thank you to our Past President Suzy Barbour for her dedication, leadership, and the meaningful impact she made throughout the 2025–2026 Rotary year. Your commitment has left a lasting legacy for our club.

We are equally delighted to welcome President Lubna Fakhoury as she begins her journey on July 1st leading Rotary Club of Ammon for the 2026–2027 Rotary year. We wish her every success as she leads our club with vision, passion, and a commitment to creating positive change.

During the ceremony, club members were recognized for their support to the country team throughout the past year under the leadership of Past Deputy District Governor Lina Karaa, including PP Jane Manneh, PP Lubna Fakhoury, and PP Sadouf Farraj.

As Rotary embraces this year's message, "Create Lasting Impact," we look forward to another year of fellowship, service, and making a difference together.

Congratulations to both our inspiring leaders, and here's to another successful Rotary year!

✨ بروح عيد الفصح المجيد والعطاء ✨

في لفتة إنسانية تعكس قيم التضامن والخدمة، قام نادي روتاري عمّان عمون بتوزيع طرود غذائية على عدد من العائلات في منطقة ماركا، وذلك بالتعاون مع كنيسة مريم العذراء – أم الكنيسة (ماركا الشمالية). 🤝💙 كما قامت رئيسة النادي السيدة سوزان بربور بتسليم كاهن الرعيّة الأب عماد طوال علم النادي.

مبادرة نابعة من روح العطاء، تعزز التكافل المجتمعي وترسّخ رسالة الروتاري في خدمة الآخرين.

The Rotary Club of Amman Ammon distributed food parcels to families in Marka, in collaboration with Mary Mother of the Church (Northern Marka). 🤝💙

A meaningful initiative that reflects compassion, community solidarity, and Rotary’s commitment to service. Club President Susan Barbour provided the club flag to the Latin Parish Priest Father Imad Twal.
