✨ بروح عيد الفصح المجيد والعطاء ✨

في لفتة إنسانية تعكس قيم التضامن والخدمة، قام نادي روتاري عمّان عمون بتوزيع طرود غذائية على عدد من العائلات في منطقة ماركا، وذلك بالتعاون مع كنيسة مريم العذراء – أم الكنيسة (ماركا الشمالية). 🤝💙 كما قامت رئيسة النادي السيدة سوزان بربور بتسليم كاهن الرعيّة الأب عماد طوال علم النادي.

مبادرة نابعة من روح العطاء، تعزز التكافل المجتمعي وترسّخ رسالة الروتاري في خدمة الآخرين.

The Rotary Club of Amman Ammon distributed food parcels to families in Marka, in collaboration with Mary Mother of the Church (Northern Marka). 🤝💙

A meaningful initiative that reflects compassion, community solidarity, and Rotary’s commitment to service. Club President Susan Barbour provided the club flag to the Latin Parish Priest Father Imad Twal.

استضاف نادي روتاري عمّان عمّون السيد علي عودة، مؤسس فريق ملهم للتغيير والناشط الشبابي الذي يعمل على تمكين الشباب وتعزيز ثقافة المبادرة والعمل التطوعي، إيمانًا منه بأن التغيير الحقيقي يبدأ من وعي الشباب ومشاركتهم الفاعلة في المجتمع.

وتحدّث السيد علي عن فريق ملهم للتغيير، وهو فريق شبابي تطوعي مُوطن لدى وزارة الشباب ومؤسسة ولي العهد، يطلق مبادرات مجتمعية توعوية ويساهم في صناعة أثر إيجابي يقوده شباب لا ينتظرون التغيير… بل يصنعونه. ✨

The Rotary Club of Amman Ammon was pleased to welcome inspiring guest speaker Mr. Ali Odeh, founder of Mulhim for Change Team and a youth community activist dedicated to empowering young people and promoting a culture of initiative and volunteerism — believing that real change begins with youth awareness and active engagement.

Mr. Ali shared the inspiring journey of Mulhim for Change Team, a volunteer youth initiative hosted by the Ministry of Youth and the Crown Prince Foundation, creating positive community impact through awareness campaigns and initiatives led by young people who don’t wait for change — they make it. 🌱

👁️ Fighting Blindness in Jordan

The Rotary Club of Amman Ammon proudly welcomed District Governor Peter Ashdjian during his visit to the Jordan University Hospital, where he met with the hospital director and toured the Jordan Eye Bank.

This visit highlighted the club’s remarkable Global Grant project, “Fighting Blindness in Jordan”, which provides the Eye Bank with advanced medical equipment capable of dividing a single cornea into two parts — doubling the number of beneficiaries from each donation.

Through this initiative, Rotary is helping reduce waiting lists for corneal transplants, improve eye care services, and raise awareness about corneal donation, bringing the gift of sight to more people across Jordan. 👁️✨

✨ Rotary in Action! ✨

District 2452 Governor Peter Ashdjian visited the University of Jordan Hospital to follow up on the “Fighting Blindness in Jordan” project which the club received a global grant for and that was launched under the patronage of H.R.H. Prince Raad bin Zeid.

The project provided the Eye Bank with an advanced medical device that divides the cornea into two parts, increasing the number of beneficiaries from each donation and helping reduce waiting lists for corneal transplants.

The initiative, led by the Rotary Club of Amman Ammon in collaboration with the Jordan Eye Bank and the Friends of the Eye Bank and Prevention of Blindness Society, aims to enhance eye donation capacity and raise awareness about the importance of corneal donation through the “Give the Gift of Sight” campaign. 👁️💙

The Governor commended the hospital’s partnership and expressed his enthusiasm for more joint projects between Rotary and Jordan’s healthcare institutions.
