⁨ في ختام البرنامج التدريبي في مادبا لهذا العام، احتفلنا مع طالبات مدرسة مادبا الأساسية بتراثنا بطريقة ممتعة وتفاعلية من خلال مسرح الدمى 🎭✨

فكانت الحكايات والأغاني مساحة للتعرّف إلى التراث والتفاعل معه بطريقة حيّة وممتعة.

نُفِّذ هذا البرنامج بدعم من مشروع متحف مادبا الإقليمي الأثري (MRAMP)، وبالتعاون مع دائرة الآثار العامة ومديرية التربية والتعليم في مادبا، بهدف تعزيز التعلّم عن التراث بطريقة ممتعة وتفاعلية.

As we wrapped up this year’s training program in Madaba, we celebrated our heritage with the students of Madaba Elementary School through an engaging and interactive puppet theatre experience. 🎭✨

Through traditional stories and songs, the students connected with their heritage in a fun and lively way, bringing its stories and traditions to life.

The program was implemented with the support of the Madaba Regional Archaeological Museum Project (MRAMP), in collaboration with the Department of Antiquities and the Madaba Directorate of Education, creating an engaging and interactive approach to learning about heritage.⁩

من الحكاية إلى التراث…
ومن التراث إلى خيال الأطفال🌿💭

من فعاليات تدريب الحكواتي في المركز الثقافي - بيت يعيش.
شارك في التدريب 16 معلمة ومعلمًا من الرمثا، وإربد، والمفرق، ومادبا، وعمّان، والسلط.

معًا، يكتشف المشاركون من خلال التدريب كيف يمكن للقصة أن تجعل القراءة أكثر متعة، والتعلّم أكثر تفاعلاً. وكيف يمكن للحكايات أن تقرّب الأطفال من تراثهم ومن حكايات المكان من حولهم.

تأتي هذه الفعالية ضمن مشروع «قصص التراث: توظيف السرد القصصي لتعزيز ثقافة القراءة والتعلم»، الذي تقوده المؤسسة الوطنية للتراث PNT، بدعم رئيسي من مؤسسة عبد الحميد شومان، ذراع البنك العربي للمسؤولية الثقافية والاجتماعية.

And from heritage to children’s imagination 🌿💭
From the storyteller training activities at the Cultural Hub - Bayt Yaish.

16 teachers from Ramtha, Irbid, Mafraq, Madaba, Amman, and Salt took part in the training.

Together, they will explore how stories can make reading more enjoyable and learning more interactive, while helping children connect with their heritage and the stories of the places around them.

This activity is part of the “Heritage Stories: Using Storytelling to Foster a Culture of Reading and Learning” project, led by the National Heritage Trust (PNT), with primary support from the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, the cultural and social arm of Arab Bank.

من مشاركة المؤسسة الوطنية للتراث (PNT) في ورشة العمل المتخصصة حول حماية التراث الثقافي اليمني ومنع الاتجار غير المشروع بالممتلكات الثقافية، حيث استعرضت المؤسسة أهمية إشراك المجتمعات المحلية في حماية المواقع التراثية، ورصد والإبلاغ عن الأنشطة المشبوهة، بما يسهم في الحد من الاتجار غير المشروع بالممتلكات الثقافية.

As part of the National Heritage Trust’s (PNT) participation in the specialized workshop on Protecting Yemen’s Cultural Heritage and Preventing the Illicit Trafficking of Cultural Property, PNT highlighted the importance of engaging local communities in safeguarding heritage sites, monitoring and reporting suspicious activities, and contributing to efforts to prevent the illicit trafficking of cultural property.

تحت رعاية سمو الأميرة دانا فراس وبمشاركة وزير الثقافة والسياحة اليمني معالي مطيع دمّاج تم إطلاق ورشة عمل متخصصة حول حماية التراث الثقافي اليمني ومنع الاتجار غير المشروع بالممتلكات الثقافية في المركز الأمريكي للأبحاث

تجمع الورشة نخبة من المختصين والخبراء لبحث سبل مكافحة تهريب الآثار، وتعزيز التعاون الدولي، وبناء استراتيجية مشتركة لحماية التراث اليمني.

بتنظيم مشترك من مجلس مراكز البحوث الأمريكية الخارجية CAORC، والمعهد الأمريكي للدراسات اليمنية (AIYS)، والمؤسسة الأمريكية للبحوث الثقافية (AFCR)، ومركز بن للتراث الثقافي (PennCHC).

Under the patronage of HRH Princess Dana Firas, and with the participation of H.E. Muti’ Dammaj, Minister of Culture and Tourism of Yemen, a specialized workshop on Protecting Yemen’s Cultural Heritage and Preventing the Illicit Trafficking of Cultural Property was launched at The American Center of Research(ACOR) in Amman.

The workshop brings together experts and specialists to explore ways to combat the trafficking of antiquities, strengthen international cooperation, and develop a shared strategy to protect Yemen’s cultural heritage.

اختتمنا الأسبوع الثالث والأخير من برنامج "القادة الشباب لحماية التراث من التغير المناخي".

ثلاثة أسابيع من التعلم والتجربة والتفاعل مع تراثنا وبيئتنا، شكّلت بداية حقيقية لرحلة قادتنا الشباب نحو إطلاق مبادرات تسهم في حماية تراثنا الثقافي، وتعزيز استدامته في مواجهة تحديات التغير المناخي.

اليوم نختتم البرنامج، لكن رحلة القادة الشباب تبدأ.

ويأتي هذا التدريب ضمن مشروع "الصمود في وجه التغير المناخي: نحو مراكز ثقافية قادرة على الصمود في وجه التغير المناخي في الأردن"، المُنفذ بالتعاون مع سفارة سويسرا في الأردن، والذي يهدف إلى الحفاظ على بيت الجغبير وإعادة توظيفه كنموذج للترميم وإعادة الاستخدام المتكيف مع التغير المناخي.

We have successfully concluded the third and final week of the Climate Heritage Youth Leaders Program.

Three weeks of learning, hands-on experiences, and meaningful engagement with our cultural heritage and environment marked the beginning of a new journey for our young leaders as they move forward to develop initiatives that contribute to protecting our cultural heritage and strengthening its sustainability in the face of climate change.

The program may be coming to an end, but the journey of our youth leaders is just beginning.

This training is part of the “Withstanding Change: Towards a Climate Resilient Cultural Hub in Jordan” project, implemented in collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland in Jordan. The project aims to preserve and adaptively reuse Bayt Al Jaghbeer in As-Salt as a model for climate-resilient restoration and adaptive reuse.

اختتمنا الأسبوع الثاني من برنامج "القادة الشباب لحماية التراث من التغير المناخي" تجربة جمعت بين التعلم، التراث، والاستدامة.

ويأتي هذا التدريب ضمن مشروع "الصمود في وجه التغير المناخي: نحو مراكز ثقافية قادرة على الصمود في وجه التغير المناخي في الأردن"، المُنفذ بالتعاون مع سفارة سويسرا في الأردن، والذي يهدف إلى الحفاظ على بيت الجغبير وإعادة توظيفه كنموذج للترميم المتكيف مع التغير المناخي.

We concluded the second week of the “Climate Heritage Youth Leaders” program — an experience that brought together learning, heritage, and sustainability.

This workshop is part of the “Withstanding Change: Towards a Climate Resilient Cultural Hub in Jordan” Project to restore Bayt Al Jaghbeer in As-Salt and transform it into a national model for adaptive reuse in collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland in Jordan.
