🇯🇴 Jordanian Youth Participation | Project Completed
📍 Montferrier, France | 📅 23 October – 1 November

We successfully sent a youth team from Jordan to participate in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Human Unity – Tackle Islamophobia”, hosted by Toulouse Youth Network.

During the exchange, our participants actively engaged in intercultural dialogue, workshops, and collaborative activities addressing Islamophobia as a human rights and social cohesion issue. They contributed regional perspectives, strengthened their media literacy and advocacy skills, and worked alongside peers from different countries to challenge stereotypes and promote equality, dignity, and inclusion.

The project has now concluded, with our team returning equipped to carry forward the learning through follow-up actions, awareness-raising, and community engagement at local level.

Highlights from the Twin Skills Strategy Meeting – VET4Youth Project

We were delighted to host key stakeholders and employers on 23 October for a dynamic discussion and validation of the Twin Skills Strategy, part of the VET4Youth Project — an initiative dedicated to empowering young people through enhanced digital and green skills for employability and decent work.

This collaborative effort marks an important step toward shaping inclusive, future-ready vocational education and training systems.

VET4Youth Study Visit | Learning Across Borders in Greece 🇬🇷

Right after our kick-off in Athens, the VET4Youth partners from Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt embarked on a powerful study visit to Greece — hosted by our Greek partners 🇬🇷.

During the visit, participants:
🔹 Explored innovative VET practices and digital/green training methods
🔹 Engaged in peer learning with EU-based training centres
🔹 Built bridges between Southern Mediterranean and European VET institutions

This visit was more than a learning experience — it strengthened our commitment to international cooperation, quality VET, and a future-ready workforce.

🇪🇺 The study visit is part of the EU co-funded VET4Youth project, under Capacity Building in the field of Vocational Education and Training (Erasmus+).

مباشرة بعد اجتماع انطلاقة المشروع في أثينا، شارك شركاؤنا من الأردن، لبنان، ومصر في زيارة دراسية نظمتها مؤسسات التدريب اليونانية 🇬🇷 ضمن مشروع VET4Youth.

خلال الزيارة، قام المشاركون بـ:
🔹 التعرّف على ممارسات تدريب مهني مبتكرة ومناهج رقمية وخضراء
🔹 تبادل الخبرات مع مؤسسات التدريب الأوروبية
🔹 بناء جسور تعاون بين مؤسسات التدريب المهني في جنوب المتوسط وأوروبا

كانت الزيارة أكثر من مجرد تدريب — بل خطوة قوية نحو شراكات دولية وتعليم مهني عالي الجودة وتأهيل الشباب لسوق العمل المستقبلي.

🇪🇺 هذه الزيارة جزء من مشروع VET4Youth المموّل بالشراكة مع الاتحاد الأوروبي ضمن برنامج بناء القدرات في مجال التعليم والتدريب المهني (Erasmus+).

Kick-off in Athens! United for Youth Empowerment through Green & Digital Skills 🇪🇺🌱💻

We’re thrilled to launch VET4Youth, an EU co-funded project bringing together partners from Greece, Germany, Austria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt to build a future where young people thrive in digital and green economies.

At the kick-off meeting in Athens, we laid the foundation for:
✅ Strengthening vocational training systems
✅ Building capacity of VET institutes and trainers
✅ Connecting education to market needs
✅ Empowering youth with skills for decent, sustainable jobs

🇪🇺 This project is co-funded by the European Union under the Capacity Building in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET) action of Erasmus+.

This is more than a project — it’s a joint commitment to youth, dignity, and opportunity.

Bridging the Skills Gap for a Greener, Smarter Future!

Youth in Jordan are full of potential — but are they being prepared for the green and digital jobs shaping tomorrow’s economy?

Through the project, we’re working with training institutes, employers, and young people to:
✅ Identify the skills that matter
✅ Update VET curricula to reflect real market needs
✅ Equip youth with tools to thrive in a changing world

📊 What we found:

Employers are struggling to find talent with skills in data, digital tools, and green practices
Young people are eager but lack access to relevant, hands-on training
The twin transition is coming fast — and it needs all of us on board
Together, we’re building a more inclusive, future-ready VET system.

حو مستقبل أكثر استدامة وابتكارًا

الشباب في الأردن يمتلكون طاقات هائلة — لكن هل يتلقون التدريب اللازم لوظائف التحول الرقمي والأخضر؟

من خلال مشروع ، نعمل مع مؤسسات التدريب، أصحاب العمل، والشباب من أجل:
✅ تحديد المهارات المطلوبة فعليًا في سوق العمل
✅ تطوير مناهج التدريب المهني لتواكب التحولات
✅ تمكين الشباب بمهارات تؤهلهم للنجاح في المستقبل

📊 أبرز ما تم رصده:

صعوبة لدى أصحاب العمل في العثور على كفاءات تملك مهارات رقمية وخضراء
حماس شبابي كبير، لكن التدريب العملي الموجه ما زال محدودًا
التحول المزدوج قادم بسرعة — ويحتاج لتكاتف الجميع
معًا، نبني نظام تدريب مهني أكثر شمولًا واستعدادًا للمستقبل.

Call for Participants: VET4Youth Virtual Exchanges
VET4Youth virtual exchanges aim to build the capacity of local VET (Vocational Education and Training) providers through virtual collaboration between EU and South mediterranian VET institutes. This initiative contributes to the creation of a regional strategy that supports VET providers and youth organizations in preparing young graduates for the twin transition. The twin transition involves the integration of digital and green transformations, is increasingly recognized as crucial for achieving a sustainable and competitive future.
Key Activities:
* Ice-breaking and networking sessions
* Interactive workshops
* Presentations of specific cases of application of twin transition practices in various sectors
* Duration: 3 hours each session
* Number of webinars: 2
The virtual exchanges will include:
* Sharing German and Austrian approaches to VET.
* Gathering input from SEMED countries on their needs.
* Collecting recommendations to improve SEMED VET partner operations.
* Integrating recommendations into the Twin Skills Strategy.
* Analyzing successful twin transition practices at the VET center and policy levels.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new project, VET4Youth, aimed at empowering young people in Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan by enhancing their employability through essential digital and green skills. This initiative is designed to support the twin transition of local economies, perfectly aligning with regional and EU strategic priorities.

Through VET4Youth, we will focus on capacity building, international exchanges, and developing a cutting-edge curriculum to bridge the gap between education and the labor market. Our goal is to foster sustainable economic growth across the Southern Mediterranean region.
