Despite the ceasefire, multiple attacks have been reported across Lebanon, including Beirut for the first time in recent days.

Any escalation of violence puts civilian lives at risk and hinders access to essential services 🧶👇.

‼️Action Against Hunger continues to work on the ground to provide life-saving assistance to those who need it most.

⚠️ We urge the international community to take urgent action to restore security, protect affected communities and ensure the safety of humanitarian workers.

🇱🇧 | With continued instability and repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement, displaced families and vulnerable communities in southern Lebanon face growing challenges in accessing essential supplies.

With the support of the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF), Action Against Hunger has distributed:

📦 1,198 food parcels to help families meet their nutritional needs.

🧼 682 hygiene kits to support safe sanitation and disease prevention.

🍼 39 baby kits to ensure infants receive the care they need.

But humanitarian aid alone is not enough. We demand unimpeded humanitarian access to ensure all families receive urgent support. The international community must act now—vulnerable families cannot afford to wait.

🚨 Escalation in 🇱🇧🚨 This weekend’s airstrikes hit multiple areas in Lebanon, including Tyre, with one strike just five minutes away from our office. Casualties are rising, and families are suffering.

Action Against Hunger calls for full compliance with international law and the ceasefire agreement, ensuring the protection of civilians, humanitarian workers, and essential civilian infrastructures.

We are concerned about the renewed violence in the region and call on all parties to prevent further conflict and civilian suffering.

🇵🇸| Action Against Hunger teams in the West Bank are witnessing an unprecedented increase in violence in the West Bank, causing a coercive, unstable environment.

Since the start of the military operation, Action Against Hunger teams have distributed over 1450 food parcels, 900 hygiene kits, 800 cubic meters of safe drinking water, 50 non-food item shelter kits, 30 stoves, and 20 electric heaters to displaced families across the northern West Bank.

Our teams also continue to carry out damage and needs assessments in Jenin, Tulkarem, and Tubas to assess WASH needs. Action Against Hunger will continue to support families with emergency interventions in the coming weeks. Our team estimates nearly 7 million USD is required to cover short and long-term needs, including emergency distributions as well as shelter, water, and sanitation repairs to ensure people can return home.

From covering the costs of high-risk pregnancies to offering postpartum care, nutrition support, and baby hygiene kits, we are committed to being there for families when they need it most.

Vulnerable communities, especially mothers and children, still need our help. Their health depends on our ability to continue providing essential care and support. We must act to ensure no family faces these challenges without the help they deserve.

| Ibrahim, a Syrian farmer, faced immense hardship due to years of conflict, including the loss of land and vital resources. Despite the ceasefire, civilians attempting to return home in southern Lebanon continue to face grave risks—from unexploded ordnance to destroyed homes and ongoing military presence. Humanitarian access remains restricted, delaying life-saving aid.

🔹 We call for the full compliance to international law and the ceasefire agreement.

🇱🇧 | As part of our ongoing efforts to support returnees, Action Against Hunger, with support from the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund, distributed 959 food parcels and 1,000 hygiene kits over the course of two days in the southern suburbs of Beirut. This initiative is part of a broader response addressing urgent needs following the armed conflict. Continued humanitarian aid and a lasting ceasefire are critical to ensure long-term recovery and stability.

🚚 With widespread destruction of water and sanitation infrastructure, ensuring access to clean water remains critical to prevent health risks including water-borne disease, and support families as they rebuild their lives. Despite challenges such as ceasefire violations and restricted access, our teams continue to respond to urgent needs nationwide.
