Jordan Social Page Amman This page is designed for Jordan ExPats, Locals, or World Roamers residing or passing through Jordan to socialize and get out & have some fun.

This page was started by an ExPat for ExPats (and of course locals who are married or in relationships with Expats) in Jordan with an emphasis on Amman since the majority of ExPats or roaming travelers come through here. The main goal of this page is to have a spot where ExPats can connect, share tips or recommendations, and arrange events / outings / trips together to make their stay in Jordan as

fun and easy as possible. Although, there are a number of other ExPat pages in Amman/Jordan most of these are ran by locals and are completely over-populated by locals targeting Expats; either trying to sell or oversell things, or more and more commonly harassing ExPat women. Neither of which will be tolerated on this page. There will of course be some trusted locals (recommended by ExPats of this page) who truly are trying to be helpful so ExPats residing here and travelers passing through have a better experience in Jordan. We will work to post about local events that we believe ExPats would enjoy, and try to plan a few events or outings also. We also encourage members to post about setting up events or hangouts together also. Although the purpose of this page is to socialize and meet fellow ExPat friends (and who knows maybe even a future girlfriends / boyfriends) please be respectful. This group is not some sort of Tinder App where you mass message people looking for a date. If it is brought to the attention of an admin you are harassing members you will be blocked/banned. This page is not meant to sell products so there will be no ads as such. If a person is looking for a particular object or info where to find something they are welcome to post a comment conveying that and ExPats or some of the few trusted locals on the page who have an answer or recommendation are of course encouraged to post. This is not a yard sale posting page. There are already pages like that to do that on. All posts as such will be deleted and if it continues the person will be banned/blocked. Housing Ads: Ads by Expats looking for a place or promoting an open room are fine, and locals can respond with places they know, have, or links to check out. Locals who post unsolicited continuous housing ads will be asked to stop and blocked/banned if they don't. I like animals & pets, They're great (I have a dog) but there are already plenty of pages to post about pets or stray animals in Jordan. This page is not for that. If someone has a question about finding stuff for their Pets they can post that or if someone is flying out of Jordan and wants to advertise such to see if any pets need a flight es**rt the person flying out can post an offer to es**rt. All other posts will be deleted. Be nice, have fun, and think of this as your local online neighborhood to arrange a get together, carpool to an event, get advice about a repair shop or contractor, or spread the word about things of interest for the community.

Our Story

This page was started by an Expat for Expats and of course our Local friends in Jordan with an emphasis on Amman since the majority of Expats or roaming travelers come through here. SELLING POSTS: There are many pages to post about selling things here in Jordan/Amman so there will be no posts as such here.
