تأسست جمعية سكينة عام 2010 كمؤسسة غير ربحية تعنى بتمكين الايتام من ساكني و خريجي دور الرعاية من الناحية النفسية و الاجتماعية و التعليمية مهمتها احتضان الايتام في دور الرعاية و بعد تخرجهم ومساعدتهم خلال المرحلة الانتقالية من دور الرعاية الى الاندماج الكامل في المجتمع عن طريق تلبية الحاجات النفسية ،الاجتماعية ،القانونية،الجسدية لكل يتيم و يتيمة . Assist in the integration of the orphan into society
by providing temporary resources to meet his/her fundamental needs for food, shelter, and education.
2. Provide the orphan access to social and psychological rehabilitation as needed.
3. Increase community inclusion by raising societal awareness of orphans.
4. Cooperate with the Ministry of Social Development, and other organizations to implement sustainable programs.
